I am getting married to the love of my life!!!

'Fake marriage.' My brain mocked.

It's 12:30 am and all the staff has left and everyone is already asleep so me and Roop are sneaking out of the house.

Surprisingly, Roop didn't panic in the dark. She is clutching my arm as if her life depends on it and taking deep breaths but nothing more.

"You know you can stop behaving like you are a thief!" Roop whispered beside me.

"I am just trying to be cautious!" I said, defending myself.

"Arrey thoda or tez bolo abhi uncle aunty ko suna nahi hoga ki unka pyara beta ghar se bhagkr shaadi krne jaara hai!" She whisper-yelled at me.

"Stop scolding me now." I sulked. God! What am i? 5!!

We reached the parking lot hiding from everyone only to find Avu standing there with Kartik!! This bastard.

"Avu is here!" Roop said, sighing defeatedly.

"Why does she have to meet him in the middle of the night!?" I groaned in frustration.

"Because they are getting married next month and are in love?" Roop said, rolling her eyes. I can't see her clearly due to the dark, but i know she did.

"There's still a month!" I stated.

She bent down, holding my hand with one arms and started searching for something on the floor.

"Roop, i know. Sometimes i talk shit but that doesn't mean ki aap mera sir phod doge!" I said sarcastically as she picked up a stone from ground.

She got up, and the stone in her hand fell on my foot. She immediately placed her hand over my mouth to stop my screaming.

"I am sorry, but please don't scream! It wasn't even that big of a stone! I was supposed to throw it in the opposite direction so Avu and Mr. Agnihotri would think there's something, and they'll leave to check it or whatever!" She said, pleading me.

"Wait! Now they'll be coming here!" I said, removing her hand from my mouth.
Perfect.

"Shit. Let's hide!" She said, dragging me somewhere only for us to bump into something, more like someone.

"AAAHHHHH."
"AAAHHHHHHHH."

One scream belonged to Kartik and other Roop.

Seriously.
We're so over now.

"Uhh.... i just came here for fresh air. I don't think i saw anyone or heard anything. Did you hear anything, Kartik?" Avu said, chuckling nervously.

"Me neither. Let's go." He said, and they just left.
They just left as if nothing had happened.

"Thank god Avu is intelligent." I heard Roop, who is currently digging her nails in my wrist.

"Let's take the car and leave. The security guards must have heard you!" I said, taking her to the car.

I sat on the driver's seat, and Roop sat more like hid at the back seat.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Well, I am not supposed to be here. Your security guards shouldn't see me!" She said in a duh tone.

"Can you turn on the lights for some time." She said, and i followed her command.

"You can't see inside the car due to the windows." I said.

"Ameero ke chochle!" I heard her mumbling as she came and sat on the passenger seat.
