Min-young |

I am done getting ready to go to the job interview. I just have to close my door and I'm done.

''Oh hey!'' Someone greeted me as I was taking my phone out.

''Oh hello, Junhui,'' I greeted back with a polite smile. '' "Are you feeling unwell? Your voice sounds deeper than it did yesterday.'' I asked while calling a cab.

''Oh you noticed, '' He said. ''You're going for the interview, right? Good luck once again,'' he smiled sweetly at me.

''Yeah, well my cab will be here in 10 minutes, so...'' I stopped as it got awkward.

''Oh and, Myungho said that you were familiar to him,'' he said while removing his mask.

''Really? I felt that too, but I can't remember where I've seen him or heard his name before,'' I say before I get a notification saying my cab was here. ''Well, I have to go. Can't be late for the interview. See you later,'' I said as I bowed and headed to the elevator.

Even Myungho thinks I'm familiar...

I was lost in thought as I made my way to the cab.

''Destination ma'am?'' the cab driver asked. ''Pledis Entertainment,'' I reply and get inside.

---

''Thank you,'' I say as I give the driver money and get out of the car. ''Uhh,'' I sighed in contentment as I entered the building.

''Hello, I'm here for an interview,'' I told the receptionist with a small smile. ''Okay, follow me, Miss Seo,'' The receptionist said and got up, making me follow her. We went up the elevator to a beautiful corridor that had all the company's awards. When we reached the door, she knocked and told the person inside that someone had come for the interview.

''You can go in, Miss Seo,'' she said and bowed to which I thanked her and bowed back.

Koreans are too polite... Not that I'm complaining.

''Good Morning,'' I say as I enter and bow. ''Good Morning,'' the CEO (?) said back.

CEO Han Sung-soo, that's what the nameplate said.

''Take a seat, Miss Seo,'' He said. His aura is charismatic. ''Now, why do you want to work here and what are your qualifications?'' he asked, taking a look at my resume.

''If I'm being honest, I need a job to earn money and I studied Business Management,'' I said trying to sound a bit confident.

''Well, do you know Seventeen?'' the CEO asked me.

''No, I'm sorry,'' I said not breaking eye contact.

After all, confidence is key.

''Okay, What else can you do?'' He asked while fixing his glasses. ''Do you write songs? choreograph dances? play instruments?'' He asked after sensing the confusion on my face.

''Oh, I can play some instruments, and I love dancing. I haven't tried writing a song before, but it seems fun,'' I say, forgetting I was at a serious interview. Realizing my unseriousness, I apologized.

''No, it's okay, people like you are hard to find,'' He said, removing his glasses and keeping them aside. ''You're hired as Seventeen's manager.'' He said, which caught me off-guard.

''Pardon?'' I asked, clearly shocked.

''Yes, Miss Seo. You're hired. Here's Seventeen's information and I'll call someone to take you to them, try to get to know them, you're going to spend a a lot of time with them.'' He said finally smiling at me, to which I smiled back.

''Thank you so much Mr. CEO. I'll try my best to live up to your expectations,'' I said too fast, getting up and bowing almost 5 times in a second.

That's how excited I was.

''I'm sure, you will,'' he said laughing at my actions as someone knocked. ''Take her to meet Seventeen.'' He said going back to his cold aura.

---

''I heard Mr. Han laugh,'' The female started talking. ''It's my first time, ever since I joined, hearing him laugh,'' the female said as we entered the elevator. ''You must be very fun,'' she continued.

''I guess? I'm still processing that I got hired so soon,'' I say still in shock.

''I think he hired you quickly, 'cause Seventeen had no manager for almost 4 months now,'' she said counting the months.

''Oh, How about songwriter and choreographer?'' I asked, remembering he asked me about it too.

''They haven't had a comeback since November, their last album was Dream, it was a Japanese one,'' she told me as the elevator opened.

''But, they're managing, because they are a self-producing group, also, they have a dancing unit, so choreography is not a problem,'' She continued as we walked further.

''Then, why didn't they have a comeback?'' I asked out of curiosity.

''Bumzu, you know him right? he went on a break for family reasons, he's the main producer of Pledis and almost all of Seventeen's songs are arranged by him.'' She stopped as we halted in front of a door. ''Now, here's the file containing all the information of all the members,'' she said as she gave me a huge file.

''Wait, just how many members do Seventeen have?'' I asked gasping, while looking at the file.

''13, now good luck, have fun! '' She said and opened the door.

13?!? I have to be mentally prepared for this.

''Here's your new manager, Seo Minyoung,'' She said and clapped, making the rest of them clap as well. I entered and to my surprise, I knew some of them before. Oh, Junhui's house!

''Minyoung?!?'' Soonyoung, Jeonghan, Wonwoo, and Joshua exclaimed together.

''You again?'' Myungho said along with them, and rolled his eyes.

''Wait, you guys are singers?'' I asked surprised.

''Uh, yes,'' Soonyoung said scratching the back of his neck.

''Well, we'll introduce ourselves, Say the Name, Hello, we are Seventeen!!'' A good-looking man, maybe a year older than me, started and all of them exclaimed together.

''And, I'm Seo Minyoung, Nice to meet you all,'' I say back, as we all bowed.

''Now, I'll leave Minyoung to ask you guys questions,'' the female said and left.

''Should we introduce ourselves one by one?'' A tall man next to Wonwoo asked me.

''Uh, sure?'' I say as we all take a seat.

''Or by units? ''The tall man asked again.

''I guess units? '' I say and they all get up and change places, while I take the huge file and get it ready to read it as they speak.
