After departing from Pantora, Sylvain requested to go aid his former master on Ryloth. A whole month has gone by with the war slowly progressing. Glancing around the rebel Twi'Lek that were fighting for their cause. He grew to communicate in their language. Some words he mispronounced but it was something rather than not. What he noticed from the ongoing battle was how the tide can shift rapidly.
The storms were horrendous with the sand blowing harshly against the clone's armor, his skin, and the machines they had. Rain was scarce in the month he's been on the planet, helping his former master to fight against the droids. His eyes gazed into the distance of the vast blue sky, he thought of the small number of clones he brought to Ryloth. Many died and few were alive during this battle. Would this happen if the council gave the approval to come?
"Sylvain," a voice caught his attention causing him to turn his head to see a figure approaching.
"Master," Sylvain spoke causing the man to shake his head. "I'm not your master anymore as you're not my padawan."
Sylvain felt it was odd to be calling him his name since for many years he had known him as a master who trained him in the ways of the force. Shaking his head with a small chuckle escaping him, a clone commander walked over with his helmet on his waist.
"Generals," he saluted to him and the Nikto who gave a short nod. Sylvain glanced around the little base they built with the attacks from droids. The numbers on their side greatly decreased compared to the growing numbers of the opposing side.
"We are low on rations for us and the Twi'Leks," his voice held a steady tone with a sense of urgency.
Sylvain glances at the rebels fighting for their world, he turns towards the clone and the former master. He nodded in agreement as another clone made his way over.
"I sent scouts and they spotted droids approaching from the west." His purple armor stood out from the sandy earth surrounding them.
"Zeke, Keeli. Warn the men and get everyone ready for another battle." Sylvain tells the two clones who saluted to the two Jedi and went towards the clones resting or preparing for another fight.
A hand clasped his shoulder, turning his blue eyes to stare towards the other. The gaze held grief and worry causing the man to feel it as well.
"This war will bring death to all of our loved ones. Just be true to yourself and your beliefs," the man spoke causing Sylvain to look at the sky.
He thought of the many ships in space that were giving aid to them. Would it be enough?
"We are Jedi, but also warriors in this time of age. Something is transforming slowly as the new padawans are being thrown into combat," Sylvain tells no one in particular.
