Chapter 37

Yn: "What?! In this dark?!! Are you serious?"

Tae: "why, what happened? Wait, are you scared?"

Yn: "what?! No.! I..said because anyone can get hurt in darkness..."

Tae: "hm..valid point then how about the hider can use a flashlight when he's searching for a place to hide afterwards he can turn it off and the seeker can use flashlight too to seek..."

*You were at loss of words as you didn't wanna play but would never admit that you're scared..*

Yn: "uh..but...kids play that game!! We are not kids!!"

Tae: "oh I feel like you're just giving excuses to not play..."

Yn: "okay fine I'll play!!"

Tae: *smiles* "Let's play rock, paper, scissors to decide who will be the seeker.."

Yn: "Finee.."

Tae: "the one who'll lose will be the seeker.."

Yn: "okay...Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!"

*You did rock while he did paper. Your jaw dropped. He knows that everytime you play this, you always do rock first.*

Yn: "No way! Let's do this again you might cheated!!"

Tae: "No I won! you are the one that is cheating right now.."

Yn: "ok!! I am doing it!"

Tae: "Then count till 10.."

Yn: "Are you serious?! We're not kids!!"

Tae: "You're again making excuses!"

Yn: "I hate you!!"
*You yelled at him and then closed your eyes to count but he placed a hand on your shoulder and turned you around*

Tae: "you were joking, right?"

Yn: "about what?"

Tae: "When you said you hate me.."

*You went speechless for a moment*

Yn: "why do you care?"

Tae: "Becuz..."

Yn: "yeah..?"

Tae: "just... continue with what you were doing.."

*You sighed when he dodged your question again. You turned around and again closed your eyes and started counting. You just counted till 10. And turned around, the phone in your hand was the only source of light in the whole house. You started to look behind the couches while the lightning and thunder were making you flinch every single time. Just at that moment you saw a shadowy figure standing near the curtains which made you almost scream, you flashed the light on that area but it was just the curtains. You gulped and now started to go further towards the kitchen hoping he just don't come out of nowhere and give you jumpscare. You suddenly felt someone walking behind you but again there was no one. But the feeling would come back once you again start to walk further. You came in the kitchen and started looking for him while also looking back occasionally thinking you would find him if he tried to change his place. You looked all over the place but didn't find him so decided to search again in the living room. Just when you were about to step out of the kitchen, a spoon fell creating a loud noise in the empty house. You immediately placed your hand on your chest and ran out of that place.*

Yn: "how the heck that thing fell? From where it fell?"

*You again started to search but this time more terrified than before, you were holding yourself back from yelling out his name and telling him to come out as you were scared. Even though you had a light but still it made every single thing look scary. A loud thunder suddenly aroused which made you scream, your heart almost stopped. The lightning striked again, the place didn't look anything less than a haunted house.

Yn: "What is happening?! I had enough with this game! Please come out..I don't wanna play this!!"

*You yelled for him to hear where he was but he still didn't come out*

Yn: "Fine! I lost! Can you come out now?"

*You waited for a response but still got nothing. You were getting frustrated now. You thought for a while and something clicked your brain you immediately walked towards the entrance of the house*

Yn: "okay! Don't come out! I'm going home!"

*You were about to open the door when a hand held your arms and turned you to face him*

Tae: "geez! I'm sorry! Don't go out in this rain!"

Yn: "Do you know how scared I was!? Why didn't you come out when I was calling you?"

Tae: "I am sorry...I was just trying to scare you a little..sorry.."

Yn: *sighs* "It's fine.. don't leave me again this place is scaring me.."

Tae: "As you say.. I'll stay with you."

*He intervened  his and your hand and place it in his pocket. Your heart was at much ease now.*

Tae: "Sit on the couch.."
*He pulled you with him and made you sit.*

Yn: "is your house haunted?"

Tae: "what do you mean? I didn't even try to do anything to scare you yet.."

Yn: "I felt someone walking behind me when I was searching for you and was also seeing faint shadow figures and the spoon fell itself when I went in the kitchen.!!" *You said everything in one breath when he just stayed quiet and laughed later*

Tae: "There's nothing in this house! You were scared of the dark that's why you were imagining things..."

Yn: "You know right? That is exactly how a horror movie starts.."

*He laughed again and shook his head*

Tae: "Don't worry I'll protect you if anything happens.."

*Till now you have lost the count of how many times you blushed today because of him.*

Tae: "So are we just gonna sit like this?"

Yn: "I don't kno-"
*you were interrupted when again a loud noise of something metallic falling on the floor echoed. You both looked at each other in shock*

Yn: "I told you!"
