Days Later
USC Gym
Jayde's POV

"Lookin' good Chris." I said aloud as the producer got footage of him shooting a three from the line.

This man knows he looks good.

"Damn... you're a really good girlfriend. You got bro his own column with Overtime. How come you didn't come through for your bestie?" Jack asked while crossing his arms.

He tagged along with us for moral support. Nobody knows about this video shoot but us. Everyone else will find out about it when it releases.

"I'm sorry... you seem to forget that you weren't talking to me for a period of time." I said glaring at him.

"Damn, she told me to shut my fat ass up... so what I'm bouta' do? Shut my fat ass up." He said as I cackled.

"I literally hate you." I said as we turned our attention back to Chris.

Moments Later
Chris' POV

"So Chris, where did you find your passion for basketball?"

I sat up straight in my chair and I pondered on my answer.

"Basketball was always fun to play growing up and fun to watch on tv. I always looked up to my role models... Allen Iverson, Micheal Jordan... even Kobe Bryant. I started playing when I was little and never put down a ball since. You would always find me on the court." I explained while talking to the interviewer.

"What has it been like being the top player on USC's basketball team?"

"My fellow teammates and I have worked extremely hard to maintain our positions that we have on the team today. It's been rewarding to have a good season this year, and I just constantly try to do my best to bring our team to victory. It's not easy, but my work ethic just increases to produce the best results. I'm always grateful for the opportunity." I explained as I saw Jayde shake her head in a positive manner on the sideline with Jack.

He held up two thumbs to show support.

"Where do you see yourself within the next two years?" The interviewer asked.

I smirked and said, "I am speaking this into existence. I will be drafted and I will be playing in the NBA with the team I dreamed of playing for."

"What team is that Chris?" He asked as I chuckled lightly and looked down.

I don't think I should say....

I panned my eyes over to my girl and she subtly shook her head no.

"I'm keeping my cards close for now. Y'all will know very soon. Make sure you watch my journey as it progresses." I said to the camera with a smile as the interviewer laughed lightly.

"Smart move smart move. You're definitely gonna be going places." He said as I looked back at her.

She mouthed, "Good job" to me.

I'm just so ecstatic about this shoot and interview that she set up for me. This girl is everything and more. I can't wait to see where this takes me.
