As the clock approached six, the hum of a sleek black car cut through the soft evening air as Jungkook pulled up in front of BigHit's entrance. Parking the car smoothly, he stepped out, his tall figure leaning casually against the driver's door as he waited. He crossed his arms, his eyes scanning the building with a soft smile playing on his lips. The golden light of the setting sun reflected off the glass façade, casting a warm glow on the street.

Moments later, the glass doors of the entrance slid open, and Taehyung appeared, effortlessly stylish in his usual casual elegance. Jungkook's heart did a small flip, his eyes lighting up as they met Taehyung's gaze.

"Hey," Taehyung greeted with a soft smile, approaching Jungkook.

Jungkook pushed off the car, walking over to the passenger side and opening the door for him with a small flourish. "Right on time," he said, his tone teasing but affectionate.

Taehyung chuckled, clearly amused as he slid into the seat. "Well, someone taught me the importance of punctuality."

Jungkook grinned, closing the door gently before walking around to the driver's side and hopping back into the car. "How was your day?"

"It was good. Productive. Had a nice lunch with Jimin too," Taehyung replied as he settled into the seat, leaning back comfortably. He glanced over at Jungkook, "What about you?"

Jungkook shrugged lightly as he steered the car away from the building and merged onto the bustling roads of Seoul. "Same old. A lot of meetings. But finishing the day by picking you up is always nice."

They shared a brief, comfortable silence, the only sounds being the steady hum of the engine and the distant noise of the city outside. Taehyung gazed out the window, watching the skyline shift as they drove, the city lights starting to twinkle against the darkening sky.

After about thirty minutes of continuous driving, Jungkook glanced over at Taehyung, his fingers tapping the steering wheel rhythmically. He hesitated, seemingly unsure how to approach the next topic. "Uh, Tae... Can I ask you something?"

Taehyung turned to him, curious. "Yeah, what is it?"

Jungkook bit his lip before finally voicing the concern that had been lingering in the back of his mind for some time. "Are you... comfortable driving again? I mean, after the accident, I wasn't sure if..."

Taehyung blinked, surprised by the question, but his expression softened almost immediately. He reached over, resting a hand on Jungkook's arm in a reassuring gesture. "I'm fine Kook, really. I've driven a few times since the accident. It was rough at first, but I'm okay now. I don't get anxious about it anymore."

Jungkook let out a small sigh of relief, his shoulders visibly relaxing as he offered Taehyung a grateful smile. "I'm glad to hear that. I just wanted to make sure."

"Thanks for checking in, though," Taehyung added with a gentle smile.

Jungkook grinned and, without missing a beat, shifted gears, pressing down on the accelerator. The car zoomed ahead, merging seamlessly onto a faster road, the city lights becoming a blur of motion around them. Taehyung noticed the sudden change in pace, raising an eyebrow.

"Whoa Kookie, where are we going in such a hurry?" Taehyung asked, half-laughing as he gripped the seat with one hand his other still holding Jungkook's arm tightly.

Jungkook smirked but kept his eyes on the road. "It's a surprise."

Taehyung sighed in mock frustration. "You and your surprises.", he loosened his grip.
