As he drank his coffee, he found himself beginning to choke as he hit that "Send" button. He felt the hot coffee in his lungs that were damaged already.
As he felt his vision blacken and his head heavy but fuzzy, he wrote a final reply before he died."Luo Binghe deserved better you fucking hack ass author!!!!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Upon waking up, he finds himself having the worst headache he could possibly think of at the moment as his face slightly scrunches up in pain. Clearly he hears a voice, but he's too much in pain, and his head was too fuzzy for him to properly hear. Last thing he sure as hell remembers is basically choking on his coffee which was hot still, and so much so that even a doctor would be worried he wouldn't make it.
He didn't have time to worry on how the absolute fuck he survived, last thing he remembers is seeing all black, like an endless void which knows no bounds seeing as he couldn't even see his hand even if it was half a centimeter from his nose. He also distinctly remember hearing a voice, like the robotics sound of Google Translate.
He doesn't remember what the voice said, all he remembers is... Wait.. Was his apartment always this hot?
Hearing the voice of a male, he placed his arm over his eyes as he blocked out the light, calling out for his brother (Whoever he thought it was at the moment,) to turn up the air conditioner and get some iced water.
"I'm burning up like a motherfucker here" Shen Yuan said, his voice dry and horse.
Did his voice always sound like that? He wasn't sure.
Once more, the voice was muffled. How was it that he could hear himself talk but not his brother? His body was strange. He removed his arm from his face as he tried his best to open his eyes. He half expected to see his limited edition Luo Binghe poster, he expected to eye that poster on his roof where Luo Binghe was but a little white lotus, pure in character and had yet to begun his life changing, badass blackening.
Or maybe his brothers (Fugly) face as he would look upon him worried.
But all he saw was a light brown canopy with several or more perfume satchels hanging from it, giving it a nice smell of cherry sandalwood (Not sure if this is a real scent-I'm pulling random shit outta my ass to make the story seem nice-) that he once remembered as his younger sisters preferred shampoo and conditioner before she switched over to Kiwi scented.
He was dazed, but not that dazed. This... Wasn't in his apartment and surely not a hospital room that he could ever recall. Moving his head, his vision was blurred, but that was normal considering he wore glasses. But there was someone standing there, and seeing something next to his face, he half thought it was his glasses, reaching out for it and grabbing it did he realize that that wasn't the case, it was a soft, but sturdy hand fan.
Welp, not his glasses but needed.
He snapped it opened and he began fanning away the sweat from how hot it was.
"I see you're a bit more aware, can you hear me now?" Asked a voice.
Shen Yuan jumped, this isn't any of his brother's voice-sure as hell not his fathers. He looked up, his vision strangely clearer as he took in the man before him. The first thing Shen Yuan noticed of the male was his outfit-clearly an ancient China custom of Hanfu or whatever-the-fuck-it was called again robes. He always thought those were pretty, so he ordered a few for himself, and quickly became comfortable wearing it to the point he even found himself wearing it to go to stores to buy some more coffee beans (Nobody ever batted an eye cuz those styles were and are badass).
The male had long hair, almost reaching his hip and was thick and luscious, pulled back to reveal a handsome face that looked to be made of soft meadows of early spring. His eyes were as gentle as baby deers and as concerned as a soft, older brother that Shen Yuan always remembered as the "motherly look" as it was always his mother having that look in her eye.
His sister had the same look, then again, his sister was the carbon copy of their mother so they naturally had that same look towards Shen Yuan. It was a bit strange seeing it on a man, his brothers always had treated Shen Yuan like he was no different (Which he was thankful for, his sickness already made him feel completely like a weakling), his father always had that kind, fatherly worry, but always had a hint of stern.
His mother and sister always had that look of softness and warmth that Shen Yuan became used to. Seeing that same look, he unconsciously relaxed, thinking that he was okay and that there was nothing to worry about.
Remembering that he was asked a question, Shen Yuan nodded.
"Y-Yea.. I can hear just fine now" He said, his voice still dry and hoarse.
He was still in an unfamiliar place, but in the back of his mind, he couldn't help but feel like this was all familiar somehow.
"Where... Am I again?" Shen Yuan asked.
The male looked slightly surprised "Did you perhaps sleep yourself into a trance? You're on your Qing Jing peak?" He said sounding and indeed looking confused.
"You were in excellent health, how did you come down with an illness such as this?" He asked, his eyes worried and face calm concern.
Shen Yuan was still confused, what was happening? Who is he? What the absolute hell was going on?
"Are you perhaps stressed? I know with the Conference steadily approaching, you've been working extra hard and long hours to ensure everyone is well prepared, but even you yourself need your rest. Answers will show itself in due time" He said.
Shen Yuan narrowed his eyes, still fanning away the sweat that wasn't still yet gone. Now that he thought about it. Everything did seem strangely and vaguely familiar. The clothes, the mere name "Qing Jing Peak" itself as well rang a hard bell he was going insane trying to figure out.
Shen Yuan was and is majorly suspicious on what was going on. He was doing well in playing along, but he wonders how long that'll last. This man may seem oblivious on his situation, Shen Yuan is thankful he isn't asking the difficult questions. Shen Yuan then wouldn't know what to do or say.
Before Shen Yuan knew it, the male spoke up again, his eyes even more worried and voice concerned but warm.
"Qingqiu-Shidi, are you listening to Shixiong?" He asked, raising his hand to wave it in front of his face to gain his attention.
It was at this moment Shen Yuan knew...
That he was majorly, and royally, fucked...
A voice tried to speak in his head, but it was glitched out. But it managed to say a few things before disappearing what he could only assume forever."System...Activated....Ound Role...Uo Binghe's..Aster Cang Qiong...Sects peak Lord of...Jing Peak. "Shen Qingqiu"..."Xiu Ya"...Deactivating system.. critical error..."
Shen Yuan didn't know if he hit the jackpot or if he missed a bullet... Shen Yuan wasn't dumb he read plenty of transmigration novels before to know that more than half the time the "System" could and will be a bitch.
So maybe he did miss a bullet by the System shutting off. Meaning he probably has free rein to do as he pleases but maybe appropriately as to not make anyone suspicious.
While he missed the "System" bullet.. He was hit with a boulder just by who he transmigrated as.
The one and only bitch boy Shen Qingqiu! The greatest scum he could possibly think of after Great master "Airplane" shooting towards the fucking sky! Yeah- "Great Master" his ass! - Or rather... Shen Qingqius ass now.. He needs to stop thinking now-
So... In a nutshell his dumbass died from coffee (Which he thinks is ironic in its own way) and became Shen-Fucking-Qingqiu and sitting before him now must mean...
Oh fuck it's none other than fucking Yue Qingyuan.
Oh fuck... Only thing Shen Yuan-Or.. Shen Qingqiu now was thinking now was how poor Yue Qingyuan must be, caring for his own murderer. But there was nothing he could do at the moment as saying nothing had happened yet-wait. What part of the book was he at?
Depending on what answers he could fish out of Yue Qingyuan at the moment, maybe then he'll know how to act and what to possibly avoid. While Yue Qingyuans death was horrific, the skin he was wearing was hundred times more worse.
Maybe Shen Qingqiu could find ways to avoid the death of anyone but mostly himself was to act nice?
Maybe he could throw away his dignity and cling tight to the male lead-Luo Binghe's- thighs and maybe then he'll avoid death.
But did he show at this point in time? Or did he still have yet to arrive? Hopefully he didn't arrive yet. But he might as well ask before he looks like a dumbass.
Just thinking about all this was giving Shen Qingqiu a headache.
Rubbing his head, he asked, his voice still horse and dry.
"W..Where's Luo Binghe?" He asked.
Yue Qingyuan looked shocked at first, then confused. This sort of raised hope within Shen Qingqius heart, maybe he didn't arrive yet! Perfect! That means he could change Luo Binghe's whole schooling arc here and be a loving and caring teacher that Luo Binghe deserves!
Yu Qingyuan sighed heavily to the point Shen Qingqiu was worried he was expelling his own soul.
"Shidi" He started off, snapping Shen Qingqiu out of his train of thought.
"Don't be angry" He finished.
Dread started to cloud his mind.
"The poor child's worked hard enough, he hasn't made any noteworthy mistakes no? What's the point in punishing him further?" He asked.
Welp... There goes his plan of a welcoming teacher who will be kind.
He's fucked, isn't he?
"You can tell me.. Where.. Is he?" His lips felt dry as he felt his blood slowly turn cold.
Yue Qingyuan sighed reluctantly "Haven't you always locked him in the woodshed after stringing him up and beating him?"
That's it.. Shen Qingqiu fucking lost it.
He passed out..To be continued...
