I decided to walk to my house instead of taking a bus. After twenty-five excruciating minutes later, I reached my house. Opening the front door, I made my way to my room to freshen up.

Taking my hair out of the bun, I run my fingers through it in an attempt to ease my scalp. Ughhhh, that feels so good.

Taking a look at my butterfly shaped alarm, which reads six thirty, I decided to get ready. After taking a quick shower, I changed into a black top and black mini skirt, leaving my hair down. I put on some jewelry before I picked up my Christian dior leopard print bag with matching kitten heels.

I touch up my makeup hastily, not wanting to be late. I grabbed my prada purse and left my room striding like a supermodel.

"Where are you heading to?" Papa said, scrunching his face in distaste. "You're not going anywhere wearing that." Oh, not again.

"Papa, please, it's just dinner with a couple of friends," I whined. My hands started sweating, I've never been good at lying. I think I need to take some classes; you know how to upgrade my lying skills and learn some sneaky techniques.

"What friends, carina? Naomi is your only friend. " ughh, why God, why. Everybody knows I'm a lonely bitch at this point.

"Some of my classmates are going to be there so please papa" i batted my eyelashes, giving him the puppy eyes hoping it would work.

"Don't give me that look. Stella, stop. You look like you're having a seizure. " Thankfully, I heard a honking outside my house.

"And that's my cue to leave, see ya," I rushed out of the house. I got inside Naomi's car, slumping in my seat.

"Woah there, what happened?" She asked, trying so hard not to smile.

"Just drive," I said impatiently, imagining possible scenarios when Papa finds out the truth and plans to sell me to some mobs.

"Damn alright girl" she started the car, pulling out onto the roadway.

Turning my head to the window, I began to reminisce the past. I've always wondered what it feels like to have your soulmate, you another half.

To have that one person who will support you, guide you, and cherish you. Love you no matter what. Who will put your needs before them gives you value.
Someone that you can relay on.

I've had one boyfriend in my entire life existence. And long story short, he wasn't a much. we were two different people with different needs and plans for the future. I want a long-term thing, you know. Something I can count unto. Something I can fall back to if things didn't work out.

''Guess what babe?'' Matt said putting his arm behind the couch.

Placing the book on the coffee table, I turned my head to the side ''What?''

''You're now talking to the CEO of Ralph.inc'', He grinned, running his hands through his brown locks.
