Sammy and Tony kept their promise this time and came back with Day on the eighth.

Moon had already gone to work early because of something related to her internship.

Pon happily carried his suitcase and ran off with his parents, not sparing even a single glance at Sailub.

The whole process was smooth and seamless, being quite a thankless wench.

Sailub could only call Pon from his room.
Their houses were only a few meters apart, and their rooms were directly opposite each other.

Standing on the balcony, they could see each other’s rooms.

If they were daring enough, they could even climb over the balcony and enter the other’s home.

Pon lay on the bed, reading manhuas, and there were strawberries washed by his brother next to him.

He joked with Sailub over the phone, “Sai, I have to criticize you. Distance creates beauty, and a short separation is better than a honeymoon. The few meters between us create a sense of mystery, which is perfect for cultivating feelings. It’s not a good idea to stick together all the time.”

Sailub sneered over the phone, expressing his disdain.

“That’s not what you said when you confessed to me the other day. You said you never want to be separated from me again,” Sailub ruthlessly brought up the past, exposing Pon’s shameful deceitful behavior.

Pon laughed, “How can you take what a man says seriously when he’s in the heat of the moment? Sai, are you even a man? You actually believed that?”

Sailub really wanted to ask him, whether I am a man or not, do you really not know?

But considering how Pon had been scared away by him a few days ago, he held it back.

Pon turned over on the bed and arrogantly asked, “Are you missing me a lot? Can’t stand being away from me even for a short while?”

He said this purely to tease Sailub and poke some fun, not really expecting Sailub to answer seriously.

Yet Sailub responded with a simple “Mn” on the other end of the phone.

He continued, “I do miss you a lot and can’t stand being away from you even for a short while.”

Pon froze midway while turning over on the bed.

He let his legs down and hung them over the edge of the bed, burying his face in the pillow for quite some time without coming up.

After a while, he finally said to the phone, “Enough, don’t make it sound like a life-or-death separation. All I did was go home, and our homes are next to each other. You can come over with just a step.” Pon sat up, scratching his messy hair, and continued, “How about you come to my place for dinner tomorrow, or I can come to yours. Then after dinner, let’s go out on a date.”

He remembered that he still owed Sailub a date.

Sailub chuckled and said, “Okay, you decide the location.”

Pon was in a good mood and chatted with Sailub about other things until it was 2:30 am before he finally hung up the phone.

He also didn’t know why he had so much to talk about with Sailub.

But what happened was, Pon was packed up and sent to his grandparents’ house by his parents the next morning.

Pon stood in the pollution-free green courtyard in the suburbs, facing the abundant flowers and plants in the yard, as well as chickens, ducks, and geese leisurely strolling around.
