I gave the the teddy bear one final snuggle before I went to the bathroom to get ready for the day.

Getting out of the shower, I changed into the same pair of clothes I wore yesterday that I threw into the laundry basket, as that was quite literally the only one available. Our kidnappers definitely have a lot of budget, but spent none of them on clothes.

We'll be home soon. Urara did say we'll probably be here for one week maximum.

....Just need to be optimistic...yeah....

I went towards my family portrait, and turned it around. They'll probably be mad at me, but I need to do this so i wouldn't have that video replaying in my mind...

Besides that, I could see that there was an announcement made when we were all sleeping In the group chat sent by Monokumo itself...

It said something about...the Longlegs long hours convenience store has finally opened? I'll go check that later. Besides that, there was also a Monokumo icon at the top right corner of the screen that was glowing. Wonder what that could mean?

Looking at the bathroom mirror one more time to make sure I was ready, I went outside the room bringing along Hikaru's teddy bear with me so I could return it to him.

When I opened the door, it seemed I didn't have to wait long to return it, as I was met with a crouching Hikaru next to my door.

"Reirei, you finally woke up!" He said to me, jumping up from the floor to greet me. "Did you sleep well?"

"I did, thank you. Have you been waiting for me?" I asked him.

Weirdly...he didn't look like he slept too well last night, judging from his expression that was smiling happily but still looked half asleep.

"Mhm. Everyone else is already in the cafeteria except you, so I waited for you to wake up first before I went. We've gotta stick together, Y'know?" He said to me.

"You really didn't have to do that... it's my own fault for waking up late, and my own choices that made me stay up late."

"Well then, it's my own choice to wait for you!" He said, getting a chuckle out of me.
