Lucifer made a cut down my left arm.
I couldn't feel any pain because of the drug he had injected me right after fucking the hell out of me.

He smiled watching my blood leave the cut while I could only shed a tear or two from being used like a guinea pig by both of these personalities. The only positive part about Lucifer's side was that he didn't seem to hold a grudge against me, so he was cautious about his guinea pig, unlike Alpha, who just wanted to give me pain.

A cloth was run over the cut area, wiping the blood.
"Will you look at that? Good as new!" he marveled, looking at the nonexistent cut.

I gasped terrified. How was this possible?

"He didn't tell you anything did he?"

I shook my head. "What was it?"

"A drug that alters with the genes. It gives you the best healing ability a human can have. Like an axolotl, but with more pain when regenerating."

"How can such a powerful drug exist?"

"Because we created it. It's not something the world knows of. And those who are lucky are like chickens; any day might be their last. Exciting, right?"

I was piqued at this point. Such a drug would bring them an unimaginable revenue if released to the world.
But if they hadn't, it must have had its side effects.

"It's not perfect, is it?"

Lucifer threw away the bloody cloth in a metal bin and got off the chair.
He walked over to another table and picked up a flame gun and a rod.
"Nothing and no one is perfect honey. Look at us. We're all here because of you. I'm not complaining though. I'm very happy with the way things turned out," he said as the flame gun came alive on the free end of the rod.

My throat dried up for no reason. Maybe because I could sense what he planned to do with the rod or I was just paranoid. Or, both.

"What are its flaws?"

"Pain." Lucifer grinned. "You'll feel ten times the normal amount of pain unless you get a dose of the counter drug every, single, day."

"What you mean is that I have to live on drugs from now on, and if I don't, I'll die from the pain?"

"You won't die from pain honey, but you will be miserable. Even a tiny pinch will feel like a sword has been plunged into your skin. Luckily, you're in the first stage. But once you reach the third stage, you won't be able to withstand something as little as a mosquito bite."

The low roars of the flame died out suddenly, leaving behind the glowing red rod end, which made Lucifer grin, staring at it.

He brought his finger and touched the hot surface. His skin sizzled as it burned and all he showed was a tiny flinch.
Once the flesh had been burnt from his fingerpad, he came closer and held his finger above my face.

I witnessed as the pink, burnt flesh slowly regenerated. All that was left was the new reddish skin that looked delicate.
"See? Now if Alpha hadn't taken the pill, we would be writhing on the floor like a worm. A sight that would have been enjoyable to watch but he'd kill me."

That was impossible but okay. His point was home.

"But, this ability varies from person to person, which is why I'm here to test how fast or slow you can heal. So do cooperate and I won't hurt you too much."
The evil smirk at the end of his statement gave me chills, but I could do nothing. Not when my hands and legs were bound.

Time felt like it had frozen in this lab as my whole body was subjected to all kinds of violations, from cutting, to stabbing, to poking to burning. He did everything to me without any hesitation.
The only thing keeping me intact was the drug he had fed me to numb all my pain. If not, I would have been on death's door crawling in to escape the torture.

I couldn't recall anything after he gave me another drug. But when I awoke, I was lying in a bed naked and energized.

I sat up.
"They didn't even bother covering me."
I got off the bed, pulled the sheet from under the covers, and wrapped it around my chest.
They might have all seen me, but I'd still not walk around naked. That was no fetish of mine.

The hallway, just like before was lonely and quiet. The wide stairs lacking any vibrancy just like the shared area. Nobody was in sight, not even a dog.

I took this rare chance to explore the rest of the shared spaces, like the kitchen, theater, bar, and game room.
Everything seemed like a normal home, except that the people occupying this 'home' were not ordinary.

I was staring at the game room when I felt a presence behind me.
Jumping and whirling around, I accidentally stepped on a loose end of the sheet, tripping like a fool on her clothes.

A manly laugh came as a hand shot to wind on my back, helping me regain my balance without letting go.

His icy blue eyes had me sinking in them for a second as he tucked another end of the sheet around me to keep me from tripping again.
"Be careful, pet. Wandering about without your master might cause you to fall into a dangerous den. That would be horrible for a delicate thing like yourself." He smirked taking a single step away from me, letting me take in his full physique.

Beautiful blue eyes, short dark brown eyes, a height of over six foot three, slightly muscled in his casual wear, a tattoo up the side of his neck which was obscured by the angle he stood. Overall, he was quite pleasing to look at just like the triplets.

"Th...thank you," I breathed holding the sheet firmly.

"You should change and go down to eat. No one will bring you food up here," Blue-eyes reminded as he turned.

I couldn't explain it, but he felt calm to speak to. So I grew a little bold and dashed after him. "Wait!"
I showed up in front of him.
"Are you, one of the bosses?"

He chuckled, reaching into the pocket of his drawstring pants, and took out a choker. The color of its gem wasn't visible to it, dangling about unstably.
"You're also..." I didn't want to say it. The name sounded horrible to those who hadn't volunteered to be here like myself.

Blue-eyes smiled warmly. "I'm Ethan. You?"

"Lun- Aurora. Or just Rora."

" A pretty name. You must be the new pet brought by the triplets masters."

I nodded. "What about you? Which division do you-"

He suddenly grabbed my arm and dragged me into the game room. "Shh!"
Ethan shut the door quietly while turning off the light.

"What is it?" I asked, trapped between the door and his body.

"Someone's come back. It's a crime for pets to interact without their masters. Don't you know this?"

"No," I whispered lowering my eyes. Not like I could see him in the darkness. "But what if they come this way?"

"They won't. This room is only used on Sundays."
And today was...? Fuck! I had lost count of days. "Stay still. If we're caught, the punishment won't be light, Rora. I do not want to go in the cold room."

We were now conversing in hot whispers, exchanging breaths without caring. "Cold room? What is tha-"

"The punishment room my master uses to punish us."

Oh, it was like the dark room Alpha had locked me in. But Ethan's was probably cold from its name.
