Satoru Suzuki has no idea what he's doing.

It took awhile to get them all settled, especially Albedo who kept insisting on sleeping next to him, but eventually, he was able to wrangle them into bed without struggle from most of them... Except for CZ2128, who Satoru's starting to think is only pretending to be asleep. She's only making "Z... Z... Z..." sounds.

He wasn't comfortable with them on the floor, but the ground was a better fit than the bed, which Satoru was sure he spotted some sort of mold growing inside the mattress. Inhuman or not, he wasn't sure how well their immune system could stand strange bacteria, immunities or otherwise. The owners of this motel were at least kind enough to offer the mats, which were cleaner than his bed.

At the moment, Satoru was sitting on a musty bed in a motel room, surrounded by infants Albedo, Sebas, and the Six Pleiades, all laying on their backs on mats across the floor.

Yes, you heard that right. Infants.

One moment, Satoru was waiting the final seconds before shut down, and then he was surrounded by toddlers. Even as a baby, Sebas was polite enough to not make a fuss, albeit very confused by the sudden change in scenery. The Pleiades were less so, with little Yuri doing her best to stop the tears of Entoma and Narberal while Lupusregina threw a fit, setting a bad example for CZ and Solution who both seemed to conclude that copying her tantrum was the best call in that moment.

Their screaming caught the attention of a strange group called the Sunlight Scripture, who attacked him shortly after discovering his undead nature, seeming to believe he'd just kidnapped those toddlers.

After that encounter, he found himself at a human kingdom called Re-Estize, where he found a cheap inn that willing to let him and his EIGHT babies lodge. He was given quite the look when he revealed just how many kids he was carrying.

Back then, he thought, "Please don't look at me like I'm some sort of baby napper!" But looking at them all now, with a wide variety of hair colors and skin tones, that is exactly the kind of conclusion Satoru himself would've come to.

How could he explain why he has so many kids? Sure, some of them look human, but even if the Pleiades see each other as sisters, they don't exactly look like it!

And he wasn't even sure what was going on with CZ! Considering her race, Satoru wasn't sure if she was able to grow up, not unless he works on gaining levels in the Artificer class to add such parts.

(What if none of them are able to grow up...? Oh no.)

Even worse, these weren't just babies; they were babies with powers, from levels around 40 to 100! Ones that, in this New World, could catch the attention of unsavory folk like the Sunlight Scripture, before he destroyed them, that is.

The only good thing that came from it was Gazef and those villagers. They both offered to help him, if only for the children's sake.

What is he supposed to do from here..?

In short, every NPC present for Momonga's final moments in YGGDRASIL are sent with him into the New World as infants.
