Season Two Meet-Cutes

How any of the (or all of them simultaneously) yandere Umbrella Academy members would go about first introducing themself to their darling—accidentally/spontaneously; having fallen in love at first sight, or others who have already known of their darling for long enough to plan out the best meeting around their darling's schedule, interests, and other significant factors that would make it appear like love at first sight.

Take note that these are strictly in the parameters of season two, and solely in the 60s as not to merge with season three. I will be avoiding the simple answer of "Viktor's darling replaces Sissy", "Klaus' darling replaces Dave", et cetera—unless it is genuinely the only way that would make sense without drastically altering season two. I hate to take lazy routes of inserting a character into such a good story, but sometimes that's the only option. Forgive me.

Luther Hargreeves:

His darling was someone Luther was immediately compelled to, but never found the opportunity to psyche himself up to greet them. They happened to work at the same job, Luther as security, his darling working both behind the counter, and to tend tables. They were graceful, kind even with drunken spit coming from shouting idiots who Luther proudly put in their place; that being outside, and above all else Luther just couldn't take his eyes off of them. Whether it was the way the uniform fit their body, their magnificent hair, any accessories, the casual motions they made look so elegant, or the colours of their features (eyes, skin colour, skin conditions, et cetera) that he became fixated on: Luther always sought to discover deeper than the extremities.

Naturally a person isn't going to reveal much of themself on the job—tending to the bar no less, but Luther was able to learn about them from fellow employees. He only had good intentions when he one day found himself following his darling home, but couldn't have it when they started to up their pace as they felt someone shadowing close behind their every steps only to be out of sight when the paranoid had them turn around. Luther became guilty, and stopped himself from pursuing his darling in such a way as soon as he recognised the consequence it inflicted on them. Instead he opted for shoving down his nerves, bringing a pen to paper to jot down a confession, and handing it to them the next day at work without so much as a word. As much as Luther's instincts were telling him to run away from the oncoming rejection, his heart ached to see if there was a chance, and to his surprise...

He had managed to win them over with his goofy charm. Who knew such a big, intimidating guy could be such a romantic? His writing was immaculate if you ignored his handwriting, he presented as very shy, yet his darling was well aware that Luther wasn't the kind of guy who would shy away from conflict if it meant defending his darling. Luther had protected his darling from rude customers for ages—much more than they noticed him doing for others, and sometimes over insignificant things. He was sweet, tall, and strong. What wasn't to like?

Diego Hargreeves:

It would be easy to say Diego's darling is another patient in the mental institution, and making a hypothetical substitute for Lila—though wouldn't it be more interesting if it were a polite, grounded, yet skeptical psychologist who helped to believe in Diego's passionate theory? To help in busting out the patients because his darling themself have mentally ill family members, and know that Diego is not deluded in the fashion? They risk their job, their livelihood, and entrust that Diego is on a path of good faith by letting him free...Only for Diego to become infatuated with the psychologist. Such an empathetic and caring soul in a ruthless, abusive, and majorly corrupt mental institution? He treasured them, and started the hunt to make his darling truly HIS.
