Mark, a vampire journalist with a passion for writing, struggles to maintain his creativity as he grapples with his vampiric nature. When he falls out of shape, his only remedy is to seek out blood, leading him to a fateful encounter with a pizza delivery boy named Donghyuck. Unlike his usual targets, Donghyuck possesses a unique taste that intrigues Mark, sparking a strange fascination that goes beyond mere hunger. As Mark contemplates the idea of turning Donghyuck into a regular source of meal, he realizes he must tread carefully—humans, including Donghyuck, are clever. After all, they name the unexplainable phenomenon Night Amnesia and some are so near they even connect it to the vampires.

Mark just woke up and knew he was hungry. He knew this feeling and hated it. Such hunger hurt his stomach, made him weak, and sometimes even unrecognizable.

He looked for snacks and found one leftover in his freezer. Happy, Mark drank it, but it didn't help. It wasn't enough; he got hungry after an hour.

The worst part was that his fridge was empty. Even if Mark tried to find something more, he knew that there was nothing to look for. The only thing he did find was a bottle of milk. However, it wasn't what he craved. Just by looking at it, Mark felt nauseous.

That's when his state went downhill.

The headache soon joined the pain in his stomach. A little bit more, and Mark felt discomfort in his muscles too. The raven-haired man couldn't stand on his feet. He had to go somewhere and rest, to try and endure it. But even when he rested, nothing much changed. Mark closed his eyes, but all the pain didn't let him fall asleep. He was lying there in agony, cursing out his life and constant hunger.

He managed to lay like that for the whole day, though. Maybe because he could barely walk so he didn't even bother. With his thoughts, he traveled to his favorite store, a meat store, and imagined buying one big and fresh stake. For a few minutes, he forgot the hunger, but then the next pain joined, and he got back to reality.

His teeth hurt.

Stomach, head, and muscles... These were bad, but the worst of them all was his aching teeth. Mark hated this pain the most and so he started to think of how to feed himself.

The first thing that got into his head was to go out and shop. He knew it was stupid because he could barely walk, it was still bright outside and he might attack someone because of his state.

The second solution was to order a pizza delivery guy... Well, pizza. Mark liked this idea. He just needed to call, and his food would be brought there instantly. Of course, he will need to deal with the consequences afterward but just as Mark gets back to normal, he'll fix everything.

So, arming himself with patience, Mark sat up, wincing in pain, and reached for his phone. His eyesight became blurry; therefore, finding the nearest pizza place was hard. Mark still tried his best and when he found one, he rehearsed about what to say as he knew the pain in his teeth would get in his way.

As everything was done, Mark called. Listening to the continuous beeping was deafening his sensitive ears, but thankfully, that didn't last long.

"Hello!" he heard a female voice. She then said the name of the fast-food restaurant to which Mark just nodded and rolled his eyes, hoping this would end soon. "How can I help you?"

"I want to order a large pizza."

"What kind?"

"Decide that for me, please."
