"Please, Sun... Have mercy on them!" Moon fell on his knees as red strings of fire wrapped around his throat, cutting into his skin. "I-I'm... I-I'm sorry for not... Pl-pleasing you, S-Sun..."

"That's a good Moon. You really are pathetic, just like your little friend Earth."

Earth was unconscious besides him, and Sun was done having his fun with him.

"H-how can I make you happy, Sun? I-I don't know what to do anymore..."

"You've had your moments. I'm not going to be happy with everything you do. It's... The bare minimum, at least," Sun laughs as he unties the strings.

Moon coughed and grasped his neck. He looked over to Earth, his hands about to reach for him.

"Don't try and help him, Moon. Let him learn his lesson for trying to interrupt us."

"Y-yes, Sun."

"Come with me, Moon, we can do other things whilst he suffers," Sun already turned around to begin walking further into the palace. Moon quickly scurried to catch up, not wanting to be left behind.

He was led to the hallways, where Moon had kept all of their portraits. Of course, these were all hand-painted by Moon. Duplicates were given to Sun, but Sun had burnt the ones of Moon, considering his face undeserving of being hung in Sun's palace.

Moon was up close to Sun. "S-Sun, c-can-"

"I didn't ask you to say anything, did I, Moon?"

"I'm so-sorry."

"Don't apologise, I understand that you're... Stupid," Sun turned around, looking Moon in the eye. They were the same height and build, yet Moon felt so small and weak compared to Sun.

Moon whimpered at the insult.

"Oh, don't be upset, your stupidity is sometimes a good thing," Sun smirks, lifting Moon's chin. "Isn't it? I mean, you make me so happy when you blindly follow my orders." He grins.

Moon nods eagerly. "Y-yes, Sun."

"Say it, Moon. Tell me what you are!" He laughs.

"I'm stupid," Moon mutters.

"Louder!"

"I'-I'm...st-stupid!" Moon yells.

"Good Moon," Sun lets go of Moon. "I've had fun tonight. Hurting both you and Earth. I deserve refreshments."

"W-would you like some mooncakes? A-and... um... a cocktail?"

"Aren't you sweet? Lead the way, Moon," Sun pushed Moon ahead.

Moon took Sun to the palace's kitchen. They didn't need to eat, drink, sleep, or anything, really. But they liked the feeling of human needs, especially indulgences such as sweets or drinks. Moon began to work on the mooncakes. They were Sun's favourite, even if Sun hated Moon to death. That was probably the only other reason Sun kept Moon alive; his absolute devotion and his delicious mooncakes.

"Later, Moon..." Sun whispered.

"L-later what?"

"I have other plans for you," Sun grinned. "You'll have fun, I promise."

Moon smiled. "R-really?"

Sun nodded, a knowing glint in his eyes. "Of course you will. Aren't I the best?"

"Y-yes, Sun! Y-yes, you are the best!" Moon exclaimed as he was mixing up ingredients.

"I'm sure you can't wait."
