Liam roars, the sound echoing through the locker room as Scott and Stiles pin him against the wall, water from the shower drenching him. His fists clench, his body tense with rage.

"Okay, you calm yet?" Stiles asks, trying to keep his voice steady.

Liam lets out another feral roar, still struggling against their grip.

Scott exchanges a glance with Stiles, and together they push him harder against the cold tiles. It takes a moment, but finally, Liam's breathing starts to slow. His fingers retract, and the wild look in eyes begins to fade.

"Guys," I step forward cautiously. "Let him go."

Reluctantly, they release him, and Liam stumbles out of the stream of water. He slumps down against the wall, sliding to the floor as the last of his adrenaline fades. Stiles shuts off the shower, and the room is suddenly quiet except for Liam's heavy breathing.

"That car you smashed. I thought you said that was your teacher's," Scott says gently, but insistent.

"He was also my Coach," Liam says, wiping the water from his face. "He benched me for the entire season."

Scott frowns. "What did you do?"

Liam shakes his head, looking down. "I got a couple of red cards."

"Just a couple?" Stiles crosses his arms.

Liam shoots him a quick look but doesn't answer.

Scott crouches down in front of him. "You gotta be honest with us. What else happened?"

For a moment, Liam stays silent, but then lets out a long defeated sigh. "Nothing," he says defensively. "I got kicked out of school. They sent me to a psychologist for evaluation."

"What did they call it?" Scott asks, his face softening.

"Intermittent Explosive Disorder," Liam replies, seeming embarrassed.

"I.E.D?" Stiles raises his eyebrows. "You're literally an I.E.D? That's great," he lets out a half-laugh, half-sigh, rubbing his face in disbelief. "You gave super powers to a walking time bomb." Stiles looks at Scott, holding a thumbs up.
