- - - -NORTHSIDE OF RIVERDALE - - - - The next morning, Peter and MJ are walking to school when MJ notices that Peter is lost in a daze. She could tell something was bothering him but she didn't know what, but she was definitely about to find out.
MJ: Hey, you good?
Peter: Yeah, it's just that last night.
MJ: Ugh yeah, I know. Archie and his weird crusade is starting to really piss me off.
Peter: Not that. Did you get weird feeling from Mr. Lodge.
MJ: Besides the strong smell of men cologne after he left the room? Not really. Why?
Peter: It's just. When I went to go shake his hand, my Spider-Senses went off and that only happens when danger is close by.
Seeing the confusion on Peter's face made MJ realize that Peter was very serious about this and it was clearly bugging him.
MJ: Well, he did just get out of jail.
Peter: Yeah but, so far, my spider-sense haven't been wrong about anything
As Peter and MJ walk into the school, Peter couldn't help but wonder why did his spider senses go off at that moment as it would continue to bug him the whole school day.
- - RIVERDALE HIGH BOYS LOCKER ROOM - - At the same time, Archie has gathered all of the Bulldog football players into the locker room for a very important/emergency meeting.
Archie: Guys, we're under attack. And by "we," I mean our friends, our families. This time, it was Moose and Midge. Next time, it could be you... your girlfriend, your family. It's time to do something about it. I want us to start a watch group.
Murmurs of excitement are heard throughout the boys locker room as they weren't prepared for what Archie has suggested to them.
Archie[cont.]: Not to canvass the town, that's not workable, but to focus on Riverdale High, its students, its faculty and staff, its parents, where we all hang out, an extra circle of protection around it.
Flash: You want us to take it to the streets, kick some ass.
Archie: That was my first thought, too, But no. No weapons, no violence. I'm talking about a patrol, an extra set of eyes and ears for the police.
Harry: And what if we run into the killer?
Archie: Then we call Sheriff Keller. We're not vigilantes, like Spider-Man, we're better than that. We're watchdogs.
Flash: We're the Watchdogs.
Archie: We're not called the Watchdogs, Flash. We're called the Red Circle. We hold the line. We're not waiting around for the next attack. From now on, we're protecting our own.
As the bulldogs are cheering, in agreement, Harry stands there and is the only one not cheering. The look on his face showed that he uncomfortable by this whole thing and it made him more uncomfortable how everyone was so quick to join him.
