I woke up to Roc not being in the bed with me, i started to get worried until i heard voices downstairs. I quietly got out of bed and left out the room hiding behind the corner of the hall listening

' I know grandma, ill talk to her when she gets up about it '

I already knew it was Roc, on the phone with his grandma?

' Im sorry I've just been really busy but i promise ill come see you '

' Okay love you too, bye '

I hurried up and walked back into the bedroom and went to the bathroom. A couple minutes later i heard him walk into the room

' Vanessa? ' he yelled

' Im in here! '

' Oh, well good morning ' he said smiling

' good morning ' i couldnt help but smile back

' Well um, i have a Question ' He said twiddling with his fingers

' Wassup? ' I asked acting as clueless as i could

' Well um, Wellseeitoldmygrandmotherthatmeandyouweredatingandshecuriouswhoyouareandwantstomeetyoutoday ' He said taking a deep breathe after finishing

' Wait, slow down '

' I Said, I kinda sorda told my grandmother that me and you were dating and so today she wants to meet you '

' Oh, Okay ' I said shrugging my shoulders

' Really? ' He said a little excited

' Yes now let me get ready shoo ' i said pushing him out the bathroom

I hopped in the shower washing up with my vanilla body wash, when i was finally done i got out and brushed my teeth. I decided to be a little daring and get dressed in the closet so i walked out the bathroom into the bedroom but i surprisingly didn't see Roc. Right when i was about to step foot into the closet i hit something warm and hard. I looked up and came face to face with Roc

' What are you doing? ' He asked looking me up and down

When i looked in his eyes i saw something in them ive never seen before

' Trying to get ready obviously ' I said smirking

' Well, be downstairs in 15 i fixed you something ' He said with his back turned to me then walking out the room

Wow, i thought he was gonna make a move but it ended up with me being embarrassed apparently. I quickly picked out something simple and got dressed. Since i had my hair pinned up i didn't have to do much to it so i took it down and hand combed my hair. After spraying perfume on i headed downstairs into the kitchen, i saw he made me bacon and eggs along with a waffle. From the looks of it he knew how to cook but looks may be deceiving. I sat down at the island and took a bite, being thrown back by the taste i ate more and more until there wasnt any left. As i was drinking some orange juice i was caught of guard by someone speaking

' I see someone likes my cooking '

I already knew it was Roc without even turning around

' It wasn't five star restaurant type good but it was good ' I said smirking turning around in the chair facing him

He chuckled a little ' Well are you ready ? '
