CHAPTER TWELVE. Dean.

MARCH 5TH.

RAIDEN ROMANO.

I'm talking with Enrion , his dad had contacted Cole last week but by the time Enrion was able to trace it he was gone already.

Here's the thing Dean is Enrion's dad and Kane's brother , he's older than Kane so when Kane took over instead of him he had to throw a tantrum , murder Libby before attempting to muder me to throw my dad off as I'm the oldest son I'll be next to take over after Kane , however if Kane stepped down and I was dead the position would go to Cole , Enrion's twinbrother , Dean's son as Emery is too young so ofcourse he wanted his son next in line after he failed to take that position , killing Kane would have been useless as I would have just imidiately taken over , seeing as I'm now dealing with this shit he failed and ran.

We've been after him for months but he's good.

Suddenly Wren speaks up from the couch "Found him." he says , I snap my eyes to see he has my laptop on his lap.

"You did ?" Lain is the first to speak up , rushing over.

I glance over at Enrion who also gets up and follows Lain.

I'm next , getting up and walking over , giving Wren a quick glare for not only taking my laptop but also because somehow he has to know my password , honestly I don't even know why that surprises me at this point , he turns the laptop for me to see , it's the coordinates of a hotel in a different city .. not only a different city but also a whole different country , about a 2 day roadtrip from here.

Enrion huffs "It's risky , he's too far."

Lain shakes his head "Not far enough." 

Enrion cut ties with the mafia two years ago when he met Lain, not wanting to get him involved but after his Dad murdered Libby he decided to help with this one last thing .. killing his father.

I look at Wren "How did you get this ?"

Wren shrugs , getting up and walking over to the kitchen "Magic." he mumbles.

I follow him after handing Enrion the laptop.

Once we're alone in the kitchen Wren turns to me "You left me here."
I roll my eyes "You're still on about that ? I came back Wren."

"You could have left a note." he says , narrowing his eyes at me.

"I texted you." I attempt to defend myself.

He snorts "Real usefull when my phone is broken dumbass."

I frown "How the hell was I supposed to know that ?"

He throws his hands up as if its obviously my fault I didn't know before he crosses his arms over his chest.

For the first time today I actually focus on his face and notice the small scratch underneath his eye , I instinctively reach out and brush my thumb over it "What happened ?" Wren seems to lean into my touch which makes me drop my hand from his face.

"I got attacked." he then says.

I raise my eyebrow "Attacked by.."

"By a tree Raiden , a tree." he says in annoyance before he spins around and starts making coffee.

I bite back a laugh as I watch him move around the kitchen.

I lean back against the counter , crossing my arms over my chest.

"So , what's the deal with Dean anyway ?" he then asks.

I'm more surprised at him not knowing than I would be if he did.

"He's my dad's brother.." I don't know why I'm actually telling him but he hums to let me know he's listening and urging me to continue "He's also Enrion and Cole's dad , when my dad took over after their father died instead of him he started to resent the family , fifteen years passed with him being under my dad but then a year ago he murdered his wife , we're guessing she was gonna tell my dad about his plans since he tried to go after me next , he failed and ran , that's why Enrion is here , it's his dad after all."

Wren watches me before he raises his eyebrows "Well shit." he muttered before he walked up to me and handed me my coffee. 

"Are we doing it ?" he questions , I raise my eyebrow "We ?"

He only nods.

"You , are not going anywhere." I tell him.

He hums "Does this count as kidnapping ?" he questions teasingly.

I narrows my eyes at him before I think about it for a second "Possibly." I say before walking out of the kitchen.

"Hot." he mutters behind me.

I shoot him a look over my shoulder and he shrugs.

I walk over to enrion who's still looking at my laptop "So what's the plan ?" I question as I pull out my phone and text Calix , basically telling him to go grocery shopping , get a phone and bring it all here.

"We should wait , see if he moves. Wren , can you keep track of him ?" Enrion asks.

I glare at Enron , why is nobody listening to anything I say since Wren got here ?

I specifically said Wren couldn't be involved.

Wren shrugs "I can try but its not like he's wearing panties with a tracker on them.."

Lain ofcourse bursts out laughing at Wren's words but Wren just looks back at him , his expression unreadable.

He's interesting , he's intelligent yet so careless , sly but so loud , sarcastic yet funny , stubborn yet so willing to do everything I say at the same time , and he's dangerous for me in way I can't explain but I feel it , if I'm not gonna be the death of him he will be mine..
