~ YUJIN'S POV ~

As we pulled away from the dorm, Felix was cracking jokes, and Changbin was animatedly discussing the new song they'd been working on.

The ride to the airport felt way too short, and as we approached the terminal, I noticed a small crowd gathering outside. My heart sank. I had completely forgotten how big our fandom was and how often they showed up at the airport.

As we stepped out of the van, the moment the doors slid open, the chaos began. A swarm of Stay's rushed toward us, their excited screams echoing through the air. Cameras flashed, capturing every moment. I felt my breath hitch in my throat. I haven't done anything like this in a while.

I always got major anxiety with things like this. I have a social anxiety similar to Han's. Because of this, the other members formed a protective circle around me and him, enclosed by staff.

"Yujin! Yujin!" I heard a few voices calling my name. I waved awkwardly, feeling overwhelmed. The cameras were everywhere, and it felt like all eyes were on me."

Chan moved closer to me, his shoulder brushing against mine. "Just keep walking," he murmured, his voice low enough for only me to hear. I nodded, trying to focus on getting inside the airport rather than the anxious knot forming in my stomach.

Felix, always the entertainer, took a moment to interact with the fans, throwing peace signs and smiles their way, drawing laughter and cheers from the crowd. Seungmin followed suit, his charming grin making everyone go wild. But Chan, Han, and I remained silent.

Once we made it through the entrance, I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding. The moment of quiet felt like a breath of fresh air compared to the chaos outside.

"Okay, let's get through security," a staff member urged, ushering us toward the metal detectors.

We moved through the security checkpoint, but I could see that the crowd outside had multiplied. Paparazzi were snapping photos, and fans had set up camp by the glass doors, holding banners and signs.

"Just keep your head up, Yujin," Seungmin said, trying to reassure me as we stepped out of security and into the main terminal area.

Which wasn't any better.

Chan instinctively wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him away from all the people. His arms were so comforting, the way he held me was different than last night. "Just stay close to me," he said softly, his breath warm against my ear.

We arrived at the check-in area.

Once we reached the gate, I took a moment to look around. The terminal was filled with travelers, but we were in our little corner.

"Yujin!" a staff member called out, snapping me back to reality. "We need to get your boarding pass sorted."

"Right!" I said, moving toward the counter, my heart pounding in my chest.

Chan followed closely behind me, as I approached the staff. I handed over my pass and took a deep breath, trying to center myself. The staff member quickly scanned my pass and smiled.

"All set! You're in seat 12B."

Once we boarded the plane, I felt the tension ease slightly. The interior was bright, with rows of seats lined up neatly. As we found our seats, Chan took his place beside me. Not sparing me a glance.

I settled into my seat and let out a small sigh, finally feeling a bit of relief wash over me. The chaos of the airport was behind us. Chan hasn't acknowledged me at all. It was like his comforting aura went away.
