(Ash's Perspective)

After sending Lillie back home, I went back to Professor Kukui's house. Upon arriving, I put down whatever bags I was holding on the table, also taking a pear for myself.

I started looking for Professor Kukui, but didn't find him anywhere, not even in the basement. Maybe he's currently out?

Taking this chance, I let Greninja out, giving him the Masaladas that I bought.

"Like how I promised."

Greninja seems to happily receive the Masaladas from me, since I bought four, two are for him, while the other two are for myself and professor.

As he's eating the Masaladas, I decided to wait outside in case if professor suddenly back home.

A while earlier

"Just how far is your house..." It was a long walk from the town to her estate, but on the bright side, it was a pretty good workout

I just wish to have Greninja helping me out, but I can't really rely on him all the time, after all I couldn't be weak when using Battle Bond, not that I planned on using it.

The walk was silent though, it was peaceful for once, it felt like a while after I left the cave few days ago, and lots of things already happened.

It was really tiring to pretend to be someone I wasn't really am. It's ironic because even now, I'm not myself; slowly becoming that man.

Then, I felt Lillie starting to wake up, I stopped my steps and checked on her.

"Lillie? Are you awake? Can you walk on your own now?"

"Mhmm... No..." She sounds tired, maybe it'll be the best to just carry her all the way to the mansion

"We'll soon reach your estate, so wait a bit longer." I then continue walking in silence

"... Red..." She suddenly spoke

"Thank you..." She thanked me?

I suddenly felt her hugging me from the back. For now, I'll just pretend not to hear her.

Back to the present

Greninja walked up to Ash, he then went back into his pokeball, which snapped him out of thoughts.

I shouldn't be too attached to this region, there's no guarantee that I have much more time here...

The next day, I just arrived at school and expecting the others back to their usual self. But they're all surrounding Lillie's desk.

"Alola."

"Oh? Alola Red!" Some of them reply

"Hey Red! Come here the egg is about to hatch!" Invites Sophocles

That's quick, the egg I've taken care of took at least seven days to hatch. I then approached the desk where the egg was and it was glowing.
