"Blimey," Fred huffed out, "She really stood up to Harry like that?" he asked.

I turned to Fred, a little offended on E's behalf "She's feistier than you think you know." I almost immediately regret my words when I was greeted with a confused look from Hermione and Ron and a smirk from Fred.

"Oh yeah, how would you- Ouch!" Quickly I hit Fred with a firm elbow to the ribs.

"Anyway," Hermione continued "Evie and Harry had to produce a patronus charm to fight off the dementors," she awed.

"Yeah, there were hundreds of them, we would have been gone as if they hadn't," Ron reiterated.

Hermione looked at her twisted fingers in her lap. "It was quite extraordinary," she commented.

The four of us sat in silence as we processed what had happened that evening. Evie producing a patronus charm. It's mind boggling to think about, that sort of magic is difficult, most 6th years wouldn't manage it, let alone a second year. I'm not sure I'd ever be able to produce such a charm. It takes a powerful memory I wonder what she used. Then a thought suddenly caught me, "but wait where are Remus and Sirius now?" I asked.

Ron and Hermione looked at one another, seeming to realise that they didn't know.

"Well, at least you were all back safe. It's time we went to bed it's late and-" I pretend to yawn, "It's been a long day."

Thankfully, everyone agreed and made their way up to bed. All apart from Freddie of course he knew I was up to something. Once the last click of the door was heard, Freddie turned to me "Go on, where are they." He inclined his head toward my pocket, knowing all to well what I kept in there. Quickly, I whip out my wand and the map, "I solemnly swear I'm up to no good." As quick as a flash, the map revealed where Sirius was but not Remus. "I can go alone Freddie you don't-" I began.

"Don't be ridiculous Georgie, together like always," he scoffed.

I smile.

Sometime later, in the forbidden forest.

We walked through the dark, gloomy forest. Tree standing tall, looming over us with miss of danger whispering through the sparse leaves. It's not long before we find Sirius, alone and badly injured. His bloody stained body was covered in deep tears, his legs looked broken as did his wand wielding arm, and his breathing was short and shallow. No doubt trying to brace himself against the pain hurtling its way through his body.

Fred and I look at each other and know that it's bad, if Sirius isn't healed quickly then, well who knows what would happen. Fred turned to me with worry lacing his features, "Georgie, you're the best with spells could you use that one we used to use to help him?" He asked as we got closer.

"I can try!" I knelt down beside Sirius, careful not to touch him or startle him too much. "I'm going to try and help," I reassure him unconvincingly.

His wounded face looked up at me, a hint of recognition sparkled across his features.

"Y-you," Sirius stuttered, "You're the one who's been helping out squeaks," he stated, "You've been training her and teaching her to fly."

Squeaks? He must mean Evie.

"Well, yes Sir I have she needed my help so," I began to explain when he interrupted me.

"Needed help or not I think you have taught and trained her anyway, am I right?" He smirks at me, "She seemed very happy to be training with you George."

My cheeks begin to heat. Trying to change the subject, I focus on the task at hand. "I'm not the best at spells but I always used this one for me and Freddie my twin, we fell out of trees a lot!" I explained.

"Sounds promising," Sirius quipped.

Thankfully, Sirius was healed enough to take back to the castle. Sirius explained that Remus was hiding but he was safe and not to go looking for him tonight. I felt uneasy leaving Remus out in the forbidden forest however if he really had turned into his werewolf form that night, it was probably best not to find him again until after sunrise.

"You're a good lad George, thank you," Sirius thanked.

"Just helping out a friend," I reply.

As we made our way inside the castle, Freddie led us towards the room of requirement, "You can stay in here," he offered.

"E will want to know that you're safe, it's best if you stay here until you can speak to her in the morning," I added.

"Quite," responded Sirius, "Thank you for being there for her - as well as helping me," he said earnestly.

With that, we left Sirius to rest and headed back to Gryffindor common room to finally sleep.
