IT HAD BEEN ABOUT three months since the mission and like they thought a lot had changed in their lives. Emily had decided to stay in San Diego with Bradley. After the mission they were offered to choose where to stay and she decided to stay there with him. She had thanked Admiral Ace back in Washington for everything and he had understood her choice. So, now she was living in a comfortable house by the beach with Bradley.
They balanced their work life and their private life well and it was nice to think that every time after work they would be able to fall asleep in each other's arms.
Logan and Natasha went back to Florida since they had their squadron there and loved flying with them. The rest of the Top Gun squadron also all went back to their own original base, but they all kept in contact and whenever they could they would meet up.
Logan and Natasha got married three months after the mission. They didn't want to waste time. It was an amazing wedding. They invited only friends and family and Emily and Callie were Natasha's bridesmaids while Bradley and Bob were Logan's. Maverick officiated the wedding.
At the party Emily briefly stole her brother from his now wife, Natasha, and danced with him a little. As they danced Emily was the first one to speak up.
"So, how do you feel now as a married man?", she asked him with a teasing smile and he simply chuckled.
"Really good", he admitted with a smile.
"I'm happy for you, Logan. I really am", she told him with a soft smile and he smiled back at her before a small comfortable silence settled upon them before Logan eventually broke it.
