Chapter 1: moving to barcelona

"Anto , anto, wake up we're going to Barcelona"my best friend Daniella shouted at me while jumping up and down from my bed .

I groaned while sitting up and running my eyes . does she have to wake me up this early. then realization smacked me in the face were moving to Barcelona today no wonder I was tired I have been packing all week .

"Okay I'm up what time is it" I asked

"It's 7:00 we have to be at the airport my 8:30 so hurry up and get ready we leave in 20 minutes" Daniella said while walking out of my room

Oh damn 20 minutes I have to take a shower and get ready agh

I started to run to the bathroom but it didn't turn out so well since I just woke up and my legs were still asleep so I fell and busted my butt. there was a loud sound heard when I fell

"THUMP"

"Let me guess you tried to run but legs were asleep and you fell" dani said from the kitchen

"You know me so well" I said

"Well duh we are bestfriends you dummy" she said

"True your such a genius" I said sarcastically and rolling my eyes

"Hey don't roll your eyes at me young lady " she said trying to use a stern voice

"Well stop laughing and besides were the same age you nimrod " I said

"Touché" she said

As you can see me and dani know eachother pretty good . since we are best friends and have been for almost 8 years since we started the university we both studied to become sports analysist and we both were offered a job at the same place which is the fc Barcelona the famous football club.

We both accepted since we needed a job and since this was a once in a lifetime offer that we couldn't resist.
Another reason why I accepted the job was because I wanted to see my childhood friend again which is also my true love . if your wondering who that might be then here let me give you a hint he's Barcelonas star player he's a forward and is the number 10 .

Ahh you guessed I'm in love with Lionel messi and have been for the past 15 years I know that is crazy but I have and I haven't been able to get him out of my mind all these years I know it sounds crazy .

I'm 27 years old and believe it or not I'm still a virgin . I know that's crazy but I am . I just couldn't find the right guy who has deserved to take my precious jewel .

Don't get me wrong I have dated before but all those relationships have gone bad since there was never a spark that erupted when we kissed so the relationship never really worked out .

I'm just happy I get to see Leo again and I hope he's excited to see me just as much as I am.

All this thinking I forgot I was in the shower. do you ever just get lost in your thoughts and forget what you were doing ? Because that's what happens to me all the time.

I continued my shower and then walked to these kids wrapped in a towel and brushed my teeth and blow dried my hair really quick and checked my phone and saw I still had 10 minutes so that would give me time to pick out my clothes.

I decided I would wear light blue skinny jeans , white tank top and a grey sweater that has a slouchy collar kind of I don't know how to describe it and left my hair down naturally wavy.no make up since I rarely wear it and I don't really have time for it . also wearing black high knee boots .

"Alright let's go" I said to dani

"Okay let's go we can get breakfast on the way " she said

"Yea okay "I said

We started to drive to the airport and on the way there we stopped by Dunkin donuts and ordered iced coffee and bacon egg and cheese bagels and ate them on the car drive to the airport .

We finally arrived at the airport and grabbed our luggage and went thru security and passed everything and waited for our flight to be called

"Are you excited?" Dani asked

"Yea and nervous aswell what about you "i said

"I am too but I'm glad your gonna be with me the entire time"she said

"Yea I will" I said

"Oh and are you happy to be able to see Leo again after all this time" she asked

" Yea of course I am but I'm worried what if he forgot about me " I said

"I doubt he could forget you anto your to amazing to be able to forget " she said

"I love you Dani your the most amazing best friend anyone could ask for and I'm lucky to have you " I said

"Aww anto I feel the same way about you I would never want to loose you"she said and gave me a big hug

"You will never loose me I promise" I said

"And you me" she said

We sat there still talking and waiting for our flight to be called I'm really anxious to get there who knows what will happen

"Flight 218 to Barcelona Spain is now boarding please report to gate 38 have a safe flight a good day" the speaker said

"Well let's go"dani said

We went to gate 38 and walked to our seats and sat down I had the window seat and before we knew it we were already flying and heading to Barcelona

"Barcelona here we come" I said

I fell asleep since the flight was for 7 hours so I needed to sleep instead of being awake . when I wake up I'll be at Barcelona the city were the love of my life is and I can't wait to arrive and see him hopefully he feels the same way
