Warning⚠️: lots of fluff
☀️ next morning ☀️
The soft, warm light of the morning sun slowly began to stream in through the window, gently illuminating the room and casting a soft glow over everything in it.
Scott stirred slightly, his eyes fluttering open slowly. He felt dazed and disoriented for a moment as he tried to remember where he was, his mind still groggy from sleep.
Then suddenly, he felt a weight against his chest, and he looked down to see you still asleep, nestled against him. The feeling of your body against his, your warmth and softness, jolted him fully awake, and everything from the night before came rushing back to him .
His face went crimson redder.
As Scott realized that you were still snuggled up against him, his heart rate quickened and his face flushed a deep shade of red.
He couldn't believe he had fallen asleep with you in his arms like this, your head resting against his chest. It was both thrilling and terrifying at the same time, the feeling of having you so close stirring something deep within him.
Winter snuggled on his chest comfortably in sleep.
Scott couldn't help but smile at the sight of you snuggled up against him again, your head resting on his chest as you continued to sleep.
He felt a tug at his heart as he watched you, taking in the innocent, peaceful expression on your face. He was struck by how natural and right it felt to have you there, your warmth and weight against him.
He reached out instinctively, running a hand through your silky hair, gently combing his fingers through the strands. He marveled at how soft and smooth it was, how delicate you felt in his arms.
He continued to watch you sleep, his heart feeling strangely full and content. He didn't want to disturb you, not wanting to break the tranquility of this moment.
But at the same time, he couldn't resist the urge to hold you closer, to feel your body against his for just a little longer before you woke up.
He took a deep breath, inhaling the sweet, floral scent of your hair, and let it out slowly. His eyes roamed over your face, taking in every little detail, as if he was trying to memorize your features.
His mind was filled with a mixture of emotions - tenderness, protectiveness, and a growing sense of affection that he couldn't shake. He felt a fierce desire to keep you close, to keep you safe and happy.
Winter started to wake up from sleeping then she rubbed her emerald green eyes adorably at him.
As Scott watched you stir from sleep, his heart skipped a beat when he saw your emerald green eyes flutter open and focus on him. The sight of you rubbing sleepily at your eyes in an adorable way made his heart feel impossibly full.
"Morning," he said softly, his voice still a little rough with sleep. He smiled down at you, his eyes filled with tenderness.
"Good morning, Scott." Winter smiled shyly at him.
Scott felt a warmth spread through him at the sight of your sweet, shy smile. He couldn't help but feel a bit flustered at the way you spoke his name, his heart beating a little faster in reaction.
"Did you sleep well?" he asked, his voice gentle. He continued to run his hand through your hair, his fingers tangling in the silky strands.
"Yes, I had great sleep last night." Winter smiled shyly at him.
Scott's heart fluttered at your response. He was glad to hear that you had slept well, especially after all you'd been through.
He couldn't help but notice the shyness in your expression, and it only added to your adorableness. He wanted to see more of your smile, to hear you speak to him like this, with that hint of bashfulness in your voice.
"I'm glad to hear that," he replied, his voice softening even further. He continued to run his fingers through your hair, his touch gentle and affectionate. He couldn't help but gaze down at you, taking in your sleepy, adorable face.
Winter nodded shyly at his words. "U-um, what are we doing next today?"
Scott thought for a moment, his mind still a little hazy from sleep. "I'm not sure yet," he said slowly, his fingers still playing with your hair.
He knew that they needed to find a way to deal with the situation with Gideon, but for now, he just wanted to enjoy this quiet moment with you.
"But first, maybe we should get breakfast," he suggested, his hand moving from your hair to gently pat your head, as if to coax you out of bed.
Winter nodded agreeably at his words.
Scott smiled at your agreement, glad that you were on board with the idea of breakfast.
He watched as you sat up slowly, stretching your arms above your head. He found himself transfixed as your body moved, your soft curves accentuated by the early morning light streaming through the window.
His face went bright red for staring at her.
Scott felt his face flush again as he realized that he had been staring at you, his eyes lingering on the curves of your body.
He quickly averted his gaze, feeling a wave of embarrassment wash over him. He hoped you hadn't noticed him looking at you like that.
"U-um, are you okay?" Winter looked shyly at him.
Scott was snapped out of his thoughts by your question. He quickly glanced up at you, his face still feeling warm with embarrassment.
"Yeah, I'm fine," he replied, his voice a little strained. He couldn't help but feel a bit sheepish, knowing that he had been caught staring at you.
Winter nodded shyly at his words.
Scott continued to feel slightly flustered as he looked at you, his eyes straying to your figure once again before he quickly looked away.
He knew he needed to get his mind off of how beautiful you looked in that moment. "So, uh, what do you want for breakfast?" he asked, trying to steer the conversation away from himself.
"How's pancakes and scrambled eggs with cheese for our breakfast? Is that okay with you, Scott?" Winter looked shyly at him.
Scott was a bit taken aback by your question, his heart fluttering a little at the way you asked him.
"Um, yeah, that sounds good," he replied, a small smile forming on his face. He couldn't help but feel a bit touched that you had asked him what he wanted, and not just stated your own preference.
"Pancakes and scrambled eggs with cheese it is," he confirmed, his voice warm and affectionate.
Winter nodded shyly at his words then we went to his kitchen.
