~-~The day prior had gone by quite fast, she played board games with Luke and the others. It was less competitive compared to when she played against the Ares kids and she actually won some of the rounds (which she was very proud of).
She didn't really speak to Clarisse at all that day, however she did sit with them for lunch.
Later she went to go play hide and seek with some of the other kids, it was probably the happiest she had been in the past few days.
There were lots of happy giggles and some new core memories for the kids that afternoon, it kept her mind off of what was troubling her.
That night she wanted so bad to sit with Alex, but the thing she wanted most was for Percy to be back so they could sit together at the Poseidon table. She even missed Grover a bit, because he was funny sometimes too.

When guppy woke up the next day, she had been waking up for the past few days in the Hermes cabin opting to stay with Luke and the others than on her own, the stinging of her hands was slowly going away but plasters were still adorned as a reminder of the previous twenty four hours and the previous hours before that.
She knew she was very smart because she knew there was a whole twenty four hours in a day, she learnt that when her mama taught her how hours worked and how if it was after twelve then it changes to thirteen even though you would say one pm instead of thirteen pm.
In all honesty even Guppy was pretty confused when her mama first taught her how to count the hours. It was almost as confusing as Percy's maths books for big kids, the only big kid thing guppy isn't jealous of.
But Sally taught guppy how to use her fingers to count the time, when it was thirteen you would hold up one finger, fourteen, two, fifteen, three.
When she opened her eyes she almost immediately shut them, the bright light of the sun shining in through the glass windows blinding her as it shine in her eyes.
She took a moment to slowly wake up and process where she was and what she remembered. Her chest felt heavy as she thought about the previous events.
She didn't truly know why her tiny mind was so caught up about it, Gabe would have said she was over reacting.
Guppy didn't fully understand what the meant, but if she tripped and scraped her knee he would say she over reacted she thought that when he said it he was being unfair because Gabe was a big baby and would always whine and complain, even more than guppy herself! The actual child. And go on about how Women are always so dramatic and moody.
Normally her mama would say a snarky comment back but right now all she could hear was his voice in her head calling her dramatic and a big baby, she was anything but a baby.
However because of the previous few days events her little heart was shattered.
She begrudgingly sat up, her back and neck was a bit sweaty making her baby hairs stick to the back of her neck.
She rubbed her eyes, trying to get the tiredness out of them, like her mom says...said.
Like her mom said.
Anyways, she found Sparky down by her leg. How she got down there Guppy will never know. She pulled the milk chocolate coloured bunny out from the blanket and stood up, wobbling slightly while holding on tightly to the bunny as she stumbled out her sleeping bag and out the Hermes cabin.
She could hear the loud chatter and banter of the older kids outside the cabin. She trudges out with a big yawn through the open heavy wooden doors.
"Well hello there sleepyhead." She heard him before she saw him, Luke came up behind her and held onto her shoulders, directing her away from tumbling down the porch steps.
