The beginning

I looked in the mirror almost ready to leave for Gravity falls, were I would meet up with my older cousin Wendy ~I'm 13~. We were really close before me and my family moved, and my mom trusted my uncle Dan since, you know, he was kind of scary to most people.... And I loved uncle Dan! Me and Wendy really don't look alike I have (e/c) eyes and (h/c) hair (if you want you can add a bang or whatever) that I always left down, and I always wore my wolf hat. it was one of the gifts I got from uncle Dan before we moved. I always wore (a color) worn out converse and skinny jeans with a (whatever's your fav hoodie) hoodie I grabbed my book bag with all of my things in it, and put my earbuds in walking out of my mom and dads house waving good bye to them as I got on the bus.

When I looked my mom was crying and my dad was hugging her.... Ew. I watched out the window as we passed buildings I knew so well, then all I saw was open fields. It was a 3 hour drive so I decided to fall asleep there was no one on the bus with me so it didn't matter. I woke up when the bus came to a stop, I looked out the window and saw Wendy and my uncle Dan waiting for me I smiled and walked out of the bus with my book bag and a suitcase my mom packed for me. I hugged Wendy
"Hey Wendy, it's been so long" I said as she hugged me back
"I know it's been different without you.... And not really in a good way" she joked and we both laughed as my uncle Dan picked both of us up hugging us.
"Uncle Dan!" I said happily
"How's my favorite niece been?" He asked still hugging us
"I've been good but missed you guys so much!" I said as he put me and Wendy down.

Once I greeted my other cousins and my aunt I put all of my stuff in the basement they let me use as a room. I put all of my stuff away in the one closet in the basement.... There was no dresser but hey I liked it! There was a twin bed in the middle of the room, infront of the bed was a chest that I put my laptop and my chargers in, a side table with a lamp on it next to the bed, a rocking chair in the corner kind of next to the side table, and a full standing mirror... It was nice they gave me blankets too a lot of them because supposedly at night it's colder. The extra blanket were on a shelf in the closet.

I went up stairs were I saw my three cousins sitting on the couch watching t.v in the living room, my aunt was cooking, and Wendy was by the door with my uncle Dan he looked serious. Wendy saw me smiled and waved
"Hey Y/N you wanna come down to the mystery shack with me, my boss won't care.... It's so boring maybe you could make things fun!" She said as she opened the door looking back at me. I nodded and shrugged
"Yeah okay..." I walked into the warmth of summer and sighed shutting the door behind me. She handed me a keychain with a key that hand my initials on the it the key was (f/c)
"This is to our house if you ever need to be let in... Which will probably be never unless it rains mom doesn't like the water in her house" she said looking at the sky as we walked I nodded
"Thanks Wendy" I said looking at the houses
"Are you comfortable yet...." She asked looking ahead now I nodded
"Yeah... Thank you so much for letting me stay" I said looking at her
"No problem.... The woman in the house can finally over rule the men" she joked and we both laughed as we walked in silence the rest of the way

I never knew how much I missed my cousin I smiled at the thought as we arrived at like a store in the middle of the woods almost... The sign above it said 'Mystery Shack' but the 'S' was gone so it said 'Mystery Hack' hmm.... This should be fun.... I thought to myself as we entered the store, I looked around and saw all of this knock off crap that people would buy... Dang who ever's selling this stuff must be smart.... I looked and saw a man with a hat thing (fez... I think) and he had an eyepatch on over his eye but he wore a pair of glasses, he had a suit on wow.... I thought rolling my eyes not noticeable though
"Welcome to the mystery sha-" the man was about to say but Wendy interrupted by saying
"Stan this is my cousin.... You don't have to bore her with that tourist crap" she said with a chuckle and crossing her arms
"It's not boring.... Hello I'm Stan!" He said holding out his hand, I shook it and he smiled I smiled slightly back.

Then laughter was coming from the other room and I looked at the hallway confused
"Kids come here I found a new play mate, or umm.... Another squad member if you kids call it that these days" he said shaking his head sighing a taller boy came in, he had a question mark on his shirt and a hat on he smiled at me... Not a fake smile like most people give a stranger but a genuine smile.
"Hey I'm soos... Hey dudes get in here" soos yelled to the other a girl with a star sweater, brown hair and braces came in she was around my age
"Hi there I'm Mabel!" She said throwing her arms in the air smiling
"Dipper come here" she screamed as she put her hands on her hips then a boy walked in he had a pine tree hat on, a vest on, and I thought he was really cute..... He walked over to where soos and Mabel were standing and awkwardly stood there then looked up boredly but the boredom turned into shock and he had a light blush on his cheeks
"Hello I'm dipper" he said quietly looking down I waved slightly with a little blush that wasn't noticable and smiled
"Hey.... I'm Y/N, Wendy's cousin" I said looking at the boy with my head tilted them looking at the rest of them.

This might actually be a good summer......
