San was at home helping his mom with chores. He tried to come home often to check on his parents, but he was so busy with school. Break was around the corner so he decided to move back home early.

Wooyoung was sitting at the kitchen table watching San. "I can't wait til break. I'm so tired of school."

"Yeah I can't wait either." San agreed.

"And we are having a party." Wooyoung cheered. "You are going right?"

"It's at seungkwans house?" San asked.

San didn't usually come to parties. He was more of a home body and their friends tended to drink too much for his liking.

"Please San! please! I want you with me!" Wooyoung begged. San sighed in reply.

Sans mom walked into the kitchen. "What are you boys talking about?" She asked.

"Nothing. There's a party and Wooyoung wants me to go." San answered.

"Oh? That sounds fun." His mom replied.

"Well it's fun to some people." San shrugged.

"Mom, tell him to come with me." Wooyoung pouted.

"What type of party is it?" She asked.

"It's at a friends house. We're basically going to drink together." San said.

"Well I'm sure wooyoung always has more fun with you by his side. Your dad and I used to go to parties together." She replied.

"Well yeah but usually it's all his friends and none of mine." San still wasn't convinced.

"But Jongho will be there. And yeosang too." Wooyoung said.

"You invited yeosang?" San asked surprised.

"Jongho invited him. Apparently he knows yeonjun and Soobin." Wooyoung explained.

"Oh alright. Maybe I'll go." San sighed. "I miss hanging out with yeosang."

"I just miss old times in general. When we were all friends." Wooyoung agreed.

"Right? It'll never be the same now." San agreed.

Yeosang anxiously sat at the cafe. He was so nervous about seeing Mingi again. He had just seen seonghwa. It felt like a chore to think about the past now.

Although he was happy that he was over Mingi by now. Part of him wished things went differently. There were hints of embarrassment, selfishness, shame, and resentment in his heart. Although most of it was warranted, he didn't hold onto it anymore. Hopefully talking would help.

They tended to flirt whenever they were around each other. It wasn't always intentional, but it was habit. Once you see every inch of someone's body and how much you used to crave the pleasure they gave you, friendship is never the same. That was the reality of the situation.

"Hey." He heard Mingi say.

He looked up a little startled. "Oh hey Mingi." Yeosang greeted back.

Mingi sat with him. "Haven't seen you in a while."

Yeosang laughed a little. "Yeah it's funny how the past comes back around."

"Right? I never thought I'd see you again after highschool." Mingi admitted.

"Same here." Yeosang agreed. "Speaking of.. sorry again." Yeosang apologized.

"Well we all did some regrettable things in highschool. Don't worry about it. How have you been lately?" Mingi asked.
