The calm of the library, the sound of paper or pages that one came to find, the calm and relaxing atmosphere of the library, all of this had always been pleasant for Jiwoo. the smell escaping from them gave him a real feeling of well-being while a slight warmth spread throughout her body. she felt good — she felt at home. it was nice.
the memories that wandered through her head as she let herself be gently guided through the long corridors of the establishment, her fingers sliding over the spines of the books displayed among its many shelves. she imagined herself again, at her ten years old, walking through the corridors while Heeseung took great pleasure in chasing her everywhere to come and catch her.
all those moments where Heeseung behaved like a real big brother and who simply took the time to spend time with her, to make her laugh and to assume that she was never bored. Then came all her memories where she would take any book that interested her and sit at a table to let it be carried away into a totally imaginary world that would give her imagination free rein for the time of reading.
how she loved this place. this smell of books which warmed her heart, the sounds of pages being turned, the laughter of children which could be heard throughout the room as she saw them moving through the corridors. just like her and Heeseung. when they were little.
