(Y/n)'s POV

"(Y/n)."

I wake up to the sound of my name being said.

I lift my head up, looking around.

I expected to see my room, but instead only saw pitch black.

I sit up. It was all I saw. Just complete darkness.

I furrow my eyebrows, and get up out of bed.

"(Y/n)."

There it was again.

The voice was soft. Feminine-like.

I look back over at my bed and- it's... Gone?

"What the hell?" I whisper as I feel for my bed.

Nothing.

I cross my arms and look around again.

"(Y/n)."

I got chills as I heard my name once more, the voice starting to sound... Familiar...

I continue to look around, "Who are you?" I ask softly.

I then see a familiar figure in the distance. A woman.

She had brown hair, slim frame, and was seemingly an old woman.

I look closer, and her face became more familiar.

"(Y/n)." She spoke again.

I begin to slowly walk towards her, and as I did, my heart nearly dropped.

"(Y/n), I'm so disappointed in the person you've become. This is not how I raised you."

I gasp and shudder, stepping back, "M- mom..?" I whisper.

"Yes, my child." She responded.

My eyes begin to water.

"Mom!" I yell as I begin to run towards her, holding my arms out to hug her.

I eventually reached her, and wrapped my arms around her, only to stumble forward, and smoke flood my vision.

I caugh and wipe it away, only to find she had disappeared.

"Mom..?" I ask softly, "Mom?!"

I urgently begin to look around, "Mom! No, no, no, no!"

My heart rate begin to pick up, as I begin to breath heavily.

Just at that moment, I heard as raspy voice behind me say, "Worthless," the voice said, "so worthless."

I turn around, and see Lynn.

She had a soccer ball under her arm and a grimace on her face.

Then she too just... Disappeared.

The tears rolled down my cheeks as I back up, bumping into something.

I turn around, and see my dad, "So disappointing. I can't believe you're a- a... A fa-"

Just before he could finish the sentence, he disappeared. But I knew what he was about to say.

I break down on my knees and sob.

"Why is this happening to me?" I thought to myself.

I begin to hear fits of laughter.

I lift my head, and see my friend group from my last school.

Sarah, Kelly, Michelle, Julianne. All laughing. Laughing at me.

"I always knew she was pathetic." Kelly spoke, the others laughing and nodding in agreement.

"Poor old mama's girl. Go and cry to your mommy, twerp!" Julianne said.

"Can't do that anymore." Michelle responded with a laugh.

My eyes widened, and my heart ached. I sobbed again, as the group went into more fits of laughter, before disappearing.

I just sat there and sobbed.

The hurtful words, the teasing, the laughing, the degrading- all of it going straight to my head.

I then started to hear the blaring sound of al alarm in the distance.

It echoed through the black room, making my ears ring.

I place my hands over my ears, squeezing my eyes shut as the sound became louder and louder, until eventually-

_____

I gasp and begin to breath heavily as I jerked awake, sitting up almost immediately.

I grip tightly at my blanket, and look around my room, my eyes landing on my digital alarm clock.

It beeped and beeped, the time showing 7:33 am.

I sigh deeply and move my hand over to shut it off.

I groan and rub my eyes, getting out of bed.
