Act 3 will be coming soon! By the end of the year, maybe? I hope ya'll are still there to read it! I have an announcement with this author's note for Act 2! And for Act 1 too since I forgot to post an author's note for that, LOL.
So please take your time to read ALL of this so you are aware on what you are going to expect with Act 3 and Act 4!
So, remember when I said I'd add Elliot and Rebekah's story in Act 3? It turns out I won't be doing that anymore because it'll be too confusing switching between Elliot's and Genesis's POV and switching timelines along with it. I decided to create a book for Elliot and Rebekah's love story, a novella! A short fic of maybe 20 chapters, a 1.5 of the Mahika Trilogy, can be read as a stand-alone!
I know when I start switching chapters, not all of you will be interested in reading Elliot's POV and will be skipping it to read Genesis, and I won't blame you for it, so to those who want to read Elliot, you'll have him all to yourself soon enough!
When you read Act 3, you'll notice a drastic change of improvement in my writing. I wrote Act 1 and Act 2 in 2022 in a year! Yes, I published the chapters in 2023 as a pre-written one, so I won't be worried about updating, but in 2023 I was writing for my Remus Lupin fic "Suck it and See," and my Jasper Hale fic "Sinta," if you want to be introduced to my new writing style you can read those!
Act 3 will be short, with maybe 20 chapters at least, because it'll only be Genesis's memories from her time in New Orleans, meeting the Mikaelsons in 1790 and losing her memories in the 1920s.
Then Act 4, the last Act of this fic, will break your heart and put it back together again! Because it'll have groveling Elijah! After this fic is complete, we will proceed with...

BUT before all of that. I'm still not finished with writing Act 3. It only has 10 chapters so far, and I haven't edited it yet, nor has it been beta-read by DisneyDonut7 because we've both been super busy. Because I've also been so focused on my Jasper Hale fic, I AM SO SORRY! But after that fic is finished I'll continue to write for this one!
In the mean time, I will be enforcing this rule! When I start updating!
I am establishing a new rule that I won't update any chapters until the previous chapter I posted isn't receiving the amount of attention/hype (comments & votes) I would have preferred, so this time I know that ya'll actually want to read my updates. This might get a weekly update if I am satisfied with the feedback!
