On cue, I made my way towards the window. It was the only solution I had left, and I had to act fast.

“Not so fast!” Xavier muttered behind me, and his arms suddenly wrapped around my body and pulled me into a sudden stop.

My body burnt at his touch, and I suppressed a shiver.

“Let me go!” I yelled and struggled with him.

It didn't seem much of a struggle as he effortlessly pulled me to his chest. My traitorous heart skipped once, then hammered several times.

“You will calm down, Autumn,” he was saying as I fought even harder, his words falling on my deaf ears.

“I want to leave this place, this instance!” I muttered, even as my skin tightened and an unknown feeling took over me.

“Calm down!” He ordered.

I ignored him yet again and drew my sharpened claws. I dung them deep into wherever my hand touched. My back was against him.

“Calm down, Autumn!” He yelled suddenly.

I went still immediately.

“You evil_”

He sighed, as if realising his mistakes. “See what you've done?” He said softly and turned to the other side, moving me as well.

My eyes caught a lifeless body by the wall, with blood oozing out of her head.

My heartbeat stopped instantly. “Is she going to be alright?”

“No,” he said thickly. “She has no wolf. She's definitely not going to survive that,” he explained.

What have I done?

I rushed out of his hold. This time, he didn't stop me. I moved closer to the girl and checked her pulse. She was still breathing, but faintly.

I looked up at the second maid, who was just getting up. “What are you doing? Call the physician!” I yelled.

I felt Xavier walk closer to me. “Let it be. She can't survive it,” he said in a nonchalant voice.

Angrily, I turned to him. This was his fault anyway.

“So, we are just going to watch her die? Just like that? We can still save her!”

He sighed. “It's over. She's dying already.“

I looked over at the maid again. She opened her eyes slowly as she tried to breathe. Then, she closed her eyes.

“She's dead.”

What have I done? My body shook with tremor. Did I just kill someone?

“Take her away!” Xavier ordered.

The second maid had tears on her face as she moved closer. I watched them for a moment, until they were out of sight. I've never felt so devastated.

I don't think I just killed someone!

I slid to the floor, lost in my thoughts. My head was reeling, and I was finding it difficult to believe I just killed someone.

A sigh. “Autumn.”

I ignored him.

“Autumn,” he called again, softly.

“I killed her,” I muttered, my mind still in a daze. “I killed her!” I found myself repeating.

He pulled me up and towards him, forcing my body against his big, thick chest.

“It's alright,” he whispered and patted my back softly.

I felt electric shock course through my body at the impact, even though he was touching me through my clothes.

I wonder how I was going to feel if he was touching my bare skin.

No!

I pushed away suddenly, shocking myself at the audacity. I was clearly almost lost.

“Get away from me!” I muttered between clenched teeth.

He watched me for a moment. “You can't stay away from me, Autumn. Besides, it's my job to satisfy you. As your mate.”

The words angered me the more. “As what? No!” I growled, baring my teeth. My body screamed 'yes' even as my instincts whispered 'no.”

I felt so lost. Torn between nature's imperative and my own desires, I felt torn apart, my identity at stake.

I started to back off, slowly. My traitorous heart was making it difficult for me to think, but I knew I needed to get away from Xavier at all costs.

“Not like that, young lady,” Xavier muttered close to my ears suddenly.

The next moment, I was pushed against the wall. Xavier had my hands secured above my head to prevent me from struggling with him.

Before I could blink, his lips captured mine in a brief kiss, while his left hand went over to my thigh.

My breathing stopped, and then it started to hammer wildly in my chest at the impact.

He massaged my thighs softly, drawing small circles on them. Then he went deeper.

My breath was caught up in my throat, and it suddenly felt very difficult to breathe. My core tightened, and I fought to keep my sanity.

He didn't stop until he was touching me through my pants. He drew small circles again, teasingly.

“Tell me, Autumn,” his voice was suddenly deep. “Tell me you don't feel that.” He said it teasingly.

He lifted my pants slightly but stopped and looked at me again.

I opened my mouth to say something, but no word formed.

When I didn't talk, he touched my pussy lips, and I felt myself getting wet.

“Do you need me or not?” He had a smirk on his face as he looked back at me. There was this sly look on his face as if daring me to say no.

I will like to slap the smirk off his face. But even as I want that, it looks like the most difficult thing to do.

He pulled away suddenly, leaving me wanting for more.

He took a step backward, freeing me in the process. “I'm letting you go, Autumn. I'm not going to force you.”

Oh, great! Because I thought he was going to do exactly that.

“But my offer expires in a few minutes, Autumn. If you don't accept, you will be forced to stay in this agony for 3-5 days.”

I swallowed harder on dry throat.

“Please_” I said suddenly, shocking myself.

Xavier regarded me for a moment. Suddenly, he was standing so close again, and his breath fanned my ears. “I'm going to make you cum over and over again.”

I shuddered at his words.
