Phobias are usually classified as an intense fear or anxiety over something, whether that be a social phobia, a type of acrophobia or a more specific phobia. And reactions to being exposed to this fear can range from an intense fear, need to escape and shaking/trembling to a feeling of being in danger, dizziness/fainting and disconnection. For basically everyone, they've tried to stay far away from this fear which could cause some complications but not always. For one Enhypen member, Jake to be more specific, he qualifies for all of these things with his horrible fear of blood. Hemophobia.

For Jake however, both him and everyone who knew of this fear knew that it was one of the most intense fears one person could possibly have. By that I mean if Jake was ever even exposed to or thought of blood (the slightest bit), he'd go full-on panic mode. If he was exposed to blood, the idol would just stare at it, not being able to pull his eyes away despite the fact that he hated doing this. His vision would become tunnel vision and block everything out except for the spots or puddle of blood. And that's when Jake would experience almost every single symptom known to man. He'd feel like he's in danger and want to just "leave", he'd feel the urge to faint, he'd have about 5 panic attacks if left with the blood for way too long, feel sick and much more that's too much to list. The point is, it was never a good idea to leave Jake and blood together. The only member to know of this rule was Heeseung, which Jake accidentally mentioned when they were in Jake's dorm alone.

Enhypen had a photoshoot for their newest album 'Romance: Untold -daydream-' scheduled today and Jake was feeling pretty good. He hadn't had an encounter with blood in a while which both Jake and Heeseung were happy about. The group photoshoots at this specific location had finished and members were now doing individual photoshoots. Jake, Niki and Jungwon had yet to do their photoshoots while Sunghoon and Sunoo had done theirs and Heeseung was currently doing his. As Jake was watching Heeseung's photoshoot from behind the cameras, he started to zone out and didn't realize the staff calling his name until Heeseung grabbed his shoulders and started shaking him.

"Jake~ the staff's calling for you. I just finished so I'm assuming it's your turn" Heeseung spoke when he noticed Jake zone back in.

"Oh! Thanks hyung, I must have zoned out" the idol admitted.

"Jake? We're ready for your shoot" one of the staff called him over.

Jake headed onto the set, getting into place and waited for the staff to start taking the photos, but they instead were just talking, "We've actually decided to change something up. One of the other staff is just getting something so we'll start in a bit" a staff member explained, turning to Jake.

A different staff member came running in a couple minutes later, a prop for the shoot in her hands. Although it was on the smaller side, the prop did have some sharp points that did worry Jake as there was a small chance of accidentally cutting himself with it. He pushed that thought to the back of his mind though as the staff member handed the prop to Jake, instructing him how it should be held. The pictures started being taken soon after and Jake could feel the prop starting to slip from his hands. As he was about to readjust it, it slipped from his hands and past his left arm in a way that grazed his forearm, causing a thin line of blood to appear.

The idol went to pick the prop back up when he caught sight of the crimson red starting to drip from his arm and he froze. Jake's breathing started to pick up at the same time it started becoming uneven however, like I explained, he wasn't able to look away. Everything around him started to blur into a big blob of colour through the tears forming in his eyes, the blood being the only thing he was able to see clearly. Jake tried moving, shaking his arm to get the blood off but he stayed still. He didn't, no, couldn't budge. The idol was on the verge of a panic attack and didn't want people to see him freaking out over something so small. Both Enhypen and the staff members stood in silence, wondering what was happening. Well, everyone except for Heeseung.
