Chapter 1 Kristen's POV

I was excited that my family and I were going on vacation with Rob and his family. My sister, and Rob for that matter, have both been acting really weirdly since we found out we were going vacation together. I'm guessing its going to be a little different to how people are saying its going to be. It's really hard for me to pack, my sister, Mackenzie, has already packed her bags, and I haven't even started.

Once we were in the car the nerves started to kick in. Rob and I have been together since we were half way through filming Twilight. I used to always feel really shy and nervous around him, but I now feel happy and relaxed around him. We approached a big house, but it was so beautiful it felt like a dream. I got out of the car and left my sister and parents to bring the bags in. I walked up the stone steps to the front door, I turned around and gazed at the view. Just below my direct eye line, I saw Rob's car. It wasn't his family's car, it was his. Instead of worrying, I used my keys to open the door. When I stepped inside my heart almost stopped beating. It was a fascinating sight in front of me. I remember my parents said something about a swimming pool so I went straight to the garden. I was about to walk down the slope when a pair of warm arms surrounded my waist.

"Hey babe" the familiar voice said. I turned around in his arms and faced him. "I was beginning to wonder if you were going to make it," my boyfriend said. "Nice to see you too Rob," I said laughing at him. I missed being in his arms. "Fancy a look around?" he said preparing to drag me away. "Yeah, just hold on two secs, I'm going to get my bags." He released me from his grip and I walked out the front door and to my car. I pulled my suitcase from the car and walked up the steps, just as I was about to go back inside my dad started the engine and my mom called out "See you in two weeks honey, have fun!" That was all they said to me before they drove back down the road. I walked back into Robert confused. "Did you know about this?" I asked, he only smiled at me, and walked forward took my bags off me and led me upstairs. "Robert Pattinson, I demand to know if you had anything to do with my parents abandoning me here." He burst out laughing, I will take that as a yes, I thought. "Why don't you want to be alone with me for two weeks?" He asked taking me in his arms. "I just wished you'd told me. I don't mind at all." I said.

I'd been here for 5 days and my mom hadn't called or anything. I guess she was just leaving Rob and I alone for our small vacation. We don't have long between filming the films for the twilight saga, but as long as I spend some alone time with my boyfriend I was fine. "As it's your birthday tomorrow," he said. Damn, I forgot about that. "I was thinking we could invite the others to come and stay for the last week if you like." By the others he meant, Ash, Jack, Nik and Kel. I love hanging round with them when we're not filming. "Yeah, sure, that'd be great. I'd love that." I said leaning into him. We were watching the vow, I had bought the DVD because I know Mackenzie likes watching it with me and I thought she would be staying with us. "And as it's your birthday, you may sleep in as long as you wish, but you have to let me give you your birthday presents." He said smirking at me. During the past few days, he hasn't let me sleep in so tomorrow should be good. "Actually, one of your presents has arrived early. Come with me and I'll show you." Rob stood up and turned to me. He took my hand in his and pulled me up. I had my eyes closed so I didn't know where I was going.

We stopped walking. I turned 90 degrees and Rob opened a door. "Open your eyes," he said. Sitting in front of me was a puppy. "Her name is Mistie and she's a weatern terrier cross." Rob turned to look at me. I was speechless. She was a beautiful dog and as soon as I'd taken in what was going on, I knelt down and she ran up at me. Her legs were tiny, I was amazed she got to me so fast. She was the best present ever.
