I couldn't be happier to welcome Elena back after her visit this morning when she returned to the mansion. The girls and I woke up early, knowing she'd be here before we were usually up. We got ready for the day, drank some coffee, and left the mansion to stand by the steps to the car park, eager to see our girl again.

I think all of us actually squealed when we saw the car pull in. The driver could barely put the car into park by the mansion's steps before Elena's door opened and she rushed up the stairs, meeting us halfway in a huge hug.

"I missed you guys so much, you don't even know." She said, hugging us tightly in our group hug.

"We missed you too, honey," Vera said.

"So so much," Sam added, making the rest of us giggle.

"We did, how was your trip, tell us everything!" I say as we all pull away and I see Elena's face light up.

The guards assured Elena they'd take her bags back up to her room and that she didn't have to worry about anything, so all of us retrieved back into the mansion.

Elena told us about everything she did with her mother, where they went, and what they ate, and it was so heartwarming to hear that she had an amazing time with her. At the simple mention of her mother and their trip, her face immediately lit up and all three of us girls could tell that this trip changed things for her; she was so much happier than she was when she left us.

Of course, that's understandable. She was worried and scared about her mother's safety because of Luciano and the mysterious person she was communicating with, who hadn't been identified yet, right before she left. There was also the fact that she hadn't seen her mother in a while. So before she left us, she was—in the nicest way possible—a mess.

But so much must have changed for her during this trip because now she really seemed so happy.

Elena had a day off today, which allowed her to ease back into life at the mansion before she got back to any working responsibilities, so we all sat and talked before my shift and the girls' shift started.

Above everything she told us, I have to say that the thing that shocked me most was when Elena openly admitted that she'd told her mother about the reality of what she does and where she was staying. In other words, she told her she was living with and working for a mafia, and explained how this all came along. Her mum didn't react well at first - I mean, who would? Something like that is hardly even believable, completely insane. But Elena told her everything, apart from the part where her mother was being threatened - but mainly because Harlow had promised to have eyes on her until everything was finally over and assured her she would be safe. She didn't want to worry her any more than she already had with her story.

Once it got closer to our shift start time, we took Elena back to the room and got her settled quickly.

All of us mentioned we'd individually check in on her during the day just in case since she still might be going through a moment in her mind about the entire situation, but other than that we were letting her rest.
