Not the same
As I was 10
Growing up
Getting glasses
And trying new things
Kept old friends
Lost some
Made some new ones
Everything changing
Graduating high school
Getting jobs
Making money
Paving our own path
Something things never change
feeling the same as yesterday
but changed so much in the last year
unrecognizable until shown
Living day by day
growing up
has it's highs and lows
that by the end of the day, you're 17
soon turning 18
got to get handed a diploma
a new chapter in your book
Don't stay on the previous pages too long
it would be harder to say goodbye
To the memories and your childhood
Think about it I'm 10 years
and tell me how far you came
the challenges everyone goes through
the love and the frustration
in growing up
