Austin and Ally World Tour ~ Raura

Chapter 26

|TUESDAY 17TH SEPTEMBER 2024 - LOS ANGELES | 

Ross smiles as he listens to Laura talking about how her album came out last year. They are in an interview with Elle. They are then playing song association game and then this afternoon they are doing the interview where they play with puppies with Buzzfeed too. They thought they do some PR stuff before tour wraps up. They have 6 days until they head to Australia.  

"So guys thank you so much, we thought we would now play the song association game. It's basically where we give you a word and you have to sing us either a title of a song with that word in and with the artist name too or lyric from a song. You guys ready? How we feeling?" Emma explains looking between the two. 

"This is gonna be easy, music is my life, I'm so gonna beat you dude" Ross chuckles as Laura rolls her eyes at him. 

"Nah I'm going to win, let's do this Laura" Laura says.  

"You guys competitive?" Emma asks laughing at their reactions. 

"Yeah I have a big family and we're quite athletic also love playing games or card games so yeah" Ross says laughing. 

"Yeah my family are Italian so, enough said" Laura says giggling. 

"Right are we ready?" Emma asks. 

"so ready" Laura says smiling.  

"Right here is your first word!" Emma says. 

Ross ends up winning as Laura couldn't remember some of the artist name. 

"Aw it's alright you'll win next time" Ross says as he leans over the chair to hug her before kissing her cheek. 

"Whatever dude" Laura says laughing knowing fans will go crazy over this moment. They still haven't told fans they are together. Maybe end of tour. Right now they are happy just teasing them.  

"OH MY GOSH Ross look at these little guys!!" Laura exclaims covering her mouth with her hand in shock as the puppies are bought out to them as they sit down crossed legged on the floor. Laura is leaning with her back on Ross chest as his arm is slightly draped round her. 

"Laura how do you feel about your debut album being a year old now?" The interviewer asks. 

"Oh my goodness, I can't believe it's been a year, come here little guy, gosh so much has happened this year amazing things" Laura says with a smile as she picks up a puppy and smiles at Ross who is already glancing over at her smiling widely. At least this interview he has puppies to focus on too not just her. God he's going to struggle through this. 

"Ross and you how's The Driver Era going, was it fun being able to perform Austin and Ally songs with your band?" The interview asks. Ross is too distract by one of the puppies trying to bite another. 

"No no don't do that aw, come here dude" He says as he picks up a puppy. Laura leans back into his chest again and strokes the puppy whilst another one is sitting on her lap. 

"Ross?" The interview questions with a chuckle at the sight. 

"Oh sorry could you repeat the question" Ross says also laughing as Laura rolls her eyes at him knowing he is struggling to do two things at once.  

"Of course,  how's The Driver Era going, was it fun being able to perform Austin and Ally songs with your band?" The interview repeats. 

"Oh it's been awesome, it's crazy how much the fans still love the show, we felt like we needed to tour to give them something as a thank you for the show's success since we never got a movie or season 5 I mean know who knows, but no it was great and awesome to be touring with all my favourite people. It was lovely touring with Laura instead of being seperated for so long. It was nice'' Ross says smiling over to Laura before getting distracted by a puppy thats climbing over his legs. 

"And the Raura shipping, hows that been? Do you guys find it hard with all the pressure? Like has it changed your friendship with each other at all and how was it with that on tour we saw the video of you guys kissing and the content you posted, anything going on or are you just teasing fans?" The interviewer asks curiously. 

"Um well, Laura why don't you answer that?" Ross questions as he is busy playing tug of war with one of the puppies.  

"Haha thanks Ross, we definitly enjoyed teasing them, to us it's like we were just being Austin and Ally in real life with their relationship too" Laura begins to explaim. 

"Yeah it was pretty awesome, I mean I get to kiss this beautiful girl, lucky me" Ross says chuckling before leaning in and kissing Laura's forehead as he wraps his arm around her shoulder whilst holding a puppy in the other.  Laura has a puppy in her lap and one in her hand but links her other hand with his that rests on her shoulder. 

"We've gotten pretty used too the pressure as well I mean it's been over 10 years so it's just normal and were still super super close, like I say you never know what may happen, but were good and happy"  Ross says smiling before returning to playing tug of war with a puppy.  

"So are you guys together, fans are wondering if you don't mind me asking?" The interviewer asks curiously. 

"Best friends always right Laur" Ross asks glancing over to her. 

"Oh no come here, stop that" Laura says distracting by the puppies. 

"Laur? We're best friends always aren't we" Ross asks chuckling. 

"Oh yeah best friends, this guy is great, I don't mind putting up with him" Laura says rolling her eyes before kissing his cheek. 

"And your guys relationship status are we single? Fans wanna know" The interview chuckles. 

"I'm happy, think thats all they need to know" Laura says smiling. 

"I'm pretty happy too" Ross replies casually throwing his arm around Laura's shoulder.
