Marco's POV

"You're what?" Thomas asks as all the guys begin to follow me to the dock.

"Is it really that hard to understand?" I begin to bite, my backpack on me and one luggage in hand.

"What's going on?" Joachim reaches us just as the boat begins to dock awaiting me.

The guys stop in place. Joachim comes forward.

"Where do you think you're going?" He asks as he crosses his arms.

"I have no business here," I simply state. "None of us do."

"We're all leaving together tomorrow."

"The final is in a couple of hours. Why do you want to leave before it?" Bastian steps in.

"I just do," I say. "Now, if you'll all leave me-"

"I can't let you off this island," Joachim steps in front of me. "Do you know how dangerous that is? You can't defend yourself in Spanish."

"I know what to do. I know where to go," I say. "Plus, I picked up some Spanish."

"You're not seriously going to let him go?" Lukas speaks up.

"Joachim," I whisper. "This is the least you could do for me."

With that being said, Joachim lets his arms go, exhales, and steps to the left, making the guys groan and yell.

"Bye you guys," I wave at them. "I'll tell you all about it later."

"Lou," Joachim calls for him. "Go with him and make sure he's safe."

"Will do," Lou begins to follow me.

"Marco," he starts as we get on the boat. "May I ask?"

"I'm going after a girl, Lou," I explain. "Call me crazy, but she may be the love of my short lived life."

"That's not crazy," he explains as the engine revs up. "I married my wife of twenty years a week after we met."

"I needed that," I chuckled.

From Cartagena, I made my way to the airport and went to another terminal. I had to buy my ticket back home to send my bags on the plane.

Lou was patient with me the whole time and I gave him a hug goodbye when we finally got to the gate I had to wait at.

"Reus!" I heard a voice yell from the opposite end of the gate.

I looked over and spotted Mario.

"Götze," I smiled at the sight. "How'd you find me?"

"I got the boat that circled around after and bumped into Lou thankfully," he came and gave me a hug.

"So, you're coming with?" I chuckle.

"This isn't the gate to Berlin," he laughs.

"My bags are on that flight," I explain. "I'm not leaving just yet."

"Ah," he begins to nod. "The final is about to start and I'm here, sitting with my best friend as he chases the girl of his life."

"What are friends for?" I laugh and look over at him. "I'm sorry about everything."

"Don't apologize," Mario shakes his head. "I was dumb-"

"I get it though," I give him a sympathetic look.

"I'm glad you found her, man," Mario says. "She makes you a better and happier you and I thank God for that."

"Thanks, man," I smile.
