The Curse of the Computer

Welcome back boys and girls to another scary tale told by your host with the most Deirdre Stephenson. I do so love our time together by our lovely campfire and me telling you scary stories while watching the reaction everyone gives. We only have eight more tales to get to before the volume of the curse stories is over but don't fret I will have a new volume that will be mangled stories those to won't have a happy ending either. So do gather around for our new tale and do pass around the candy apples and s'mores tasty treat while having while listening to our new tale. Everyone comify? Good now we can begin and our new tale is entitled the curse of the computer. There is a hardware store in Kansas that sells all sorts of computers and computer equipment and there is one computer that stands out from the rest because it looks like something from the future the way the keyboard and computer itself. All sorts of people come in the store daily buying something for their computer yet no one ever bought the one that looked like coming from the future. One day a nerd by the name of Paul Anderson who is only fifteen years old buying his first computer with his father. That day as Paul was at the store with his dad picking out a computer he would like to have as he picked out the one that looked like it came from the future. When the two returned home with the computer that Paul got as his father began to put the computer together for his son after that let him try it out since he took computer at school so knew Paul knew what he was doing. After that day Paul has been using his computer every day playing his video games which is why Paul wanted a computer. When it was Paul's birthday which was three weeks later after he got the computer as his parents had a nice party for him also allowed him to have his friends at his party. The day of the party there was plenty of food and drinks to go along with tons of gifts for Paul to open and along with his birthday cake to. After everyone has eaten now it is time for Paul to open his gifts that his family gave him along with his friends as his father is taking pictures of his son. Paul has a great party as everything turned out the way his mother wanted for her son only came crashing down three days later when his father returned home with the photos he took looking like a sheet of white. As Paul and his mom looking at the photos of Paul both couldn't explain why he was looking disfigured like someone bent him into a pretzel. Soon after that whenever Paul was now at his computer he would get unexplained pain in his head along with awful nose bleeds that seems to seems to last a long time before it stopped. It got to the point that one day Paul's mother took him to see his doctor to find out what is causing him to have these headaches and nose bleeds to. While examining Paul the doctor couldn't find anything so he orders him to the hospital so he can take the test he needs to find out the problem of Paul Anderson. Since Paul has been in the hospital his health has turned for the worse not only his nose bleeds when his headaches came in but now he is vomiting as well. Since the vomiting has started the doctor becomes more concerned with his patient as the test results he did showed a thing that was wrong with him. Since Paul has been in the hospital the family has come by to see him yet very worried as well because the doctor can't figure what is wrong with Paul. It has been two weeks since Paul has been in the hospital while the doctor still hasn't figured out Paul's condition or in fact how to treat it but is doing is best to give his patient any comfort when his headaches came on with the nose bleeds and vomiting. One morning the nurse went in to check on Paul to give him his morning meds. What she saw was Paul is disfigured dead in bed while his body was laying on a bed covered in his own blood. There was a funeral for Paul Anderson but a closed coffin ceremony because of the fact his body is still disfigured by whatever killed him. A week later after the funeral that Paul's mother packed up her son's things seeing he won't be coming home as his father passed down his son's computer to his cousin who could use it after all Paul wasn't here to use it so might as well pass it down to someone that can use it. Yet no one knew that the computer came with the curse and that is what caused Paul to die. That concludes this tale boys and girls as I do hope you have enjoyed this tale as much as I enjoyed telling it.
