XIII. Y/n's Pov pt. 2:

The lecture given by Lady Melissa was interesting, but I couldn't fully concentrate on it, so I spent it sketching mindlessly in my notebook. The whole time I kept going back to what Leedo had told me, and especially to Seokjin and Lady Elaine. She looked really heartbroken that Seokjin had broken up with her and I had to admit that the longer I thought about it, the more guilty I felt about what had happened between them. If I hadn't shown up in their world, she would probably still be his girlfriend for a while and be happy. And now, she would probably be roaming sadly around the Academy, pestered by other vampires and exposed to seeing me with Seokjin, which certainly wouldn't make it any easier for her to come to terms with their breakup. I just hoped she wouldn't fall into some kind of depression and try to kill herself because of it. I furrowed my brow, wondering if vampires could commit suicide, when I felt someone gently squeeze my hand.

- Y/n? - I heard Seokjin's voice who waved his hand in front of my eyes.

- Yes? - I blinked a few times and looked into his eyes.

- Are you all right? - He asked worriedly.

- Yes, why do you ask?

- Because the lecture ended a few minutes ago and you're still sitting still and not even listening to what I'm saying to you.

- Really? - I looked around and was surprised to see that he was telling the truth - forgive me, I was lost in thought. Are we going to the next class?

- Now we have a two-hour break - he shook his head and helped me gather my things - but it looks like we need to talk, so come with me.

Without waiting for my answer, he intertwined our hands together and led me out of the room. He led me through several intricate corridors and eventually we went outside the Academy to the large garden at the back of the Academy. We walked briskly through several paths until he finally stopped at a small stone gazebo with a fountain nearby. We sat down on one of the wooden benches and I was concentrating on the sound of water running down the stones, when Seokjin's voice entered my thoughts again.

- Y/n, can you tell me what happened?

- Why do you think something happened?

- Because you were talking to me normally in the morning and when I came to pick you up to take you to another lecture, you went silent and even started ignoring me. Did I do or say something wrong?

- I didn't ignore you, I just got thoughtful - I corrected quickly and smiled apologetically, seeing the sadness and guilt in his eyes.

- About what?

- It's not much, just... - I tried to pretend, but it was going with difficulty, so I sighed heavily and decided to ask him directly - why didn't you tell me that you have a girlfriend?

- Because I don't have one - he replied quickly, wrinkling his forehead.

- And Lady Elaine? I saw that you talked to her today and....

- If you felt jealous, I assure you that you have no reason for it, because I only care about you.

- I'm not jealous, I just want to know why she cried. And why are there rumors that until yesterday you were a couple?

- Because we were - he admitted reluctantly - but I broke up with her and Elaine doesn't take it very well, even though she knew it would come to that sooner or later.

- You broke up with her because of me, didn't you?

- Yes, but as I said, Elaine was aware from the very beginning that as soon as you come into my life, she would have to disappear from it - he shrugged his shoulders slightly - I didn't promise her anything and I didn't hide the truth from her. That's why I don't understand her behavior and the fact that she cried.
