XVII. Seokjin's Pov:

I walked quickly down the corridor, wanting to reach Y/n's chamber as soon as possible to spend the evening with her and was surprised to find that I no longer had to worry about any of the vampiresses blocking my way. It's true that quite a number of them still sent me longing and seductive glances and some also still slipped me more or less vulgar letters, but there were now far fewer of them than before. It seemed that Y/n's presence and my behavior toward her had let everyone know that I am already a taken man who would not be interested in any other woman than the one I have by my side. I finally reached my beloved's chamber, but before I could knock on the door it swung open and in its threshold I saw a surprised Caitlyn with several gowns in her hands.

- Oh, hello prince - she bowed her head low before me, lowering her eyes down.

- Hello Caitlyn - I smiled warmly at her - Y/n is in her chamber?

- Yes, prince, please come in - she stepped back, letting me pass inside - I'm going to attend to my duties, so I won't disturb you, prince - she slipped quickly outside, closing the door quietly behind her.

I shook my head, amused by the speed with which she escaped and moved deeper into the chamber in search of Y/n. Her chamber was just as big as ours and just as richly decorated, but I managed to notice that she tried to get rid of at least some of the furnishings, accessories and change some of the decor, which she thought was too lavish. She surprised me with this, because all vampiresses dream of wallowing in luxury and some of our human servants could also be caught in such dreams, but it seemed that not all women cared only about this, after all.

- There you are, lovely - I smiled broadly at the sight of her, seeing her standing at the window with her back to me - what are we doing today?

- I don't know - she turned sideways to me and I noticed that she was holding a red rose in her hands, running her fingers over its petals - I don't feel like going out anywhere, so maybe let's stay in my chamber.

- It will be as you wish - I walked closer to her and brushed my lips against her forehead to look at her with concern - Is something wrong?

- Really?! - she popped her head up and looked at me with sparkling eyes.

- I might have guessed that you would want something in return - she shook her head and squinted - you can ask for anything, as long as we don't have to leave my chamber.

I grabbed Y/n around the waist and pulled her closer to me so that I could slide my hand into her hair and kiss her on the lips. For a moment she was so surprised that she didn't reciprocate the kiss, but when I crashed harder into her lips she embraced my neck and inched even closer to me. I turned us on the spot and pressed her against the windowsill with my body, at the same time slipping my tongue into her mouth. She murmured quietly in response as her hand moved to the back of my head and clamped tightly on my hair. I kissed her for a while longer, feeling that I was slowly beginning to lose control, but when I felt her begin to run out of breath I reluctantly pulled away.

- If I had known that this reward would be so pleasant, I would have demanded it much sooner - I murmured in her ear, still holding her in my embrace.

- And if I had known that you were such a good kisser... - she breathed deeply and raised her head to look into my eyes - I would have made you such an offer much sooner and not only now. Damn, I really didn't think that kissing a vampire could be so pleasurable.

- Do you think so? - I raised my eyebrow amused.

- That's what I think - she smiled at me and bit her lip for the umpteenth time this evening - it's a pity that I'm going to run out of breath so soon, because I would have loved to prolong it as much as possible.

- Which doesn't mean that in a while I won't kiss you again and then we can try to prolong it.

- You're driving me crazy with this lip biting, so I already know how we'll spend tonight.

I didn't let her finish just embraced her tightly again and clung to her lips, kissing her now much more greedily than before. I didn't expect our first kiss to be so pleasant, but at the same time I was going to make sure that all subsequent kisses would give not only me, but also her even more pleasure than the first time.
