After waiting for tens of additional minutes, Hans finally came with a mountain of books. Now Cale understood why Hans took so long to get the books he asked for. He also didn't expect that there would be this many books in the category he asked about.
"You must have waited a long time, Young Master... These are the books you asked about." Hans said.
'Showing no signs of fatigue despite carrying a mountain of books... I guess my shadow guard is really great.' Cale thought.
"Thank you, Hans. You must be tired. You can take a break. I will read these books. If I feel bored, I will walk around the residence." Cale said while picking up one of the books.
"Call me if you need anything." Hans said.
After that, Hans left Cale's room to do other tasks. He is now the butler, so he has a big responsibility. Cale just read quietly and carefully. He asked for the books to look for information. Through history and existing political circumstances, it would be easy for him to draw a line of circumstances.
Judging from the height of the pile, there were around 20 to 30 books that Hans brought. He was sure he would find a lot of information from all those books. For others, it might be impossible to read that many books, but for Cale, it was a piece of cake.
This is all thanks to Cale's 'innate talent' that allows him to read quickly. For a book that is only about 100 to 200 pages, he can finish reading them in about 5 to 10 minutes. From one book to another, he read them all quickly.
"Oh, I see. It seems that without me realizing it, I have become real trash because I don't even know this kind of information." Cale said.
It was the seventeenth book he had read. He was currently reading a history book about the Roan Kingdom from a thousand years ago. He knew that the Roan Kingdom had existed for a long time, but he didn't expect it to last for a thousand years.
"I should have studied once in a while to update my knowledge at that time." Cale said with a sigh.
After saying that, Cale took out another book. This time it is a book about the geography of the western continent and the eastern continent. It was a very useful book for Cale who was investigating both continents.
While reading a book, there was a knock on the door of his room. From the voice, it was his younger brother, Basen. It seems like Basen took the time to visit Cale amidst his busy schedule as an heir.
"Come in." Cale said.
"Oh, did I interrupt your reading time?" Basen asked.
"Not at all. You must be busy, but you took the time to visit me." Cale replied.
"Do not say that. It is my duty as your younger brother to take care of you when you are sick." Basen said.
"By the way, sitting still in the room was more boring than I thought. I want to go for a walk." Cale said.
"Oh, then, it seems you are allowed to just wander around the Mansion. But before that, are you okay?" Basen asked.
"I am healthy! And no part of my body hurts anymore." Cale replied.
"Oh, then–" Basen's words were cut off.
"Young Master Basen, it is time for you to attend your class." An aide said.
'Hm...' Cale thought as he glanced at the aide slightly.
The aide didn't notice Cale's gaze because Cale's face was looking at the book he was holding. After that, Cale closed his book and took another book. This time it's a register of workers at the Henituse Residence. Before reading it, Cale looked at Basen.
