The festive energy of Christmas had taken over the Hazbin Hotel and I.M.P offices. Everywhere you turned, there were ornaments, candy canes, and tinsel—enough to make any sinner's heart feel a little lighter. But the most dangerous thing in the air wasn't the scent of freshly baked cookies or the holiday music blasting through the speakers, it was the mistletoe. It had been Charlie's idea to hang mistletoe in every doorway of the hotel. "It's a Christmas tradition!" she'd insisted, practically skipping as she placed sprigs of mistletoe above every entrance.

What she didn't anticipate was the chaos that would come from the inevitable holiday kiss trap.

Charlie and Vaggie:

Vaggie walked into the hallway, clearly distracted by the list of things still to do. Her eyes narrowed as she spotted Charlie standing under the mistletoe. "Oh no," Vaggie groaned.

Charlie, ever the optimist, grinned. "It's a mistletoe, Vaggie! Tradition! You can't not kiss me when we're under it!"

"I don't even get a choice in this, do I?" Vaggie muttered, but she leaned in, pressing a quick kiss to Charlie's cheek. "Happy now?"

"Totally!" Charlie grinned, though Vaggie's dry expression made it clear she wasn't entirely thrilled with the idea.

Alastor and Lucifer:

Alastor entered the room with his usual charismatic energy, smiling at the sight of Lucifer standing beneath the mistletoe. "Well, well," Alastor purred, his voice smooth as velvet. "I must say, this is quite the opportunity."

Lucifer raised an eyebrow, smirking. "Careful, Alastor. You wouldn't want to get too close to me. You might get burned."

Alastor stepped closer, his gaze sharp. "Oh, I don't think I'd mind a little fire."

Before Lucifer could react, Alastor leaned in and kissed him quickly but with a certain lingering heat. Lucifer didn't pull away immediately, his eyes narrowing with a mixture of amusement and something else, something a little more intrigued. "Enjoy the moment, Alastor. This won't happen again."

Husk and Angel:

Husk stumbled into the kitchen, holding a glass of whiskey, and groaned as he looked up. Of course, he walked right into the mistletoe trap with Angel Dust standing directly beneath it, grinning like a cat who got the cream.

"Hey there, big guy. Don't be shy now," Angel teased, winking at Husk. "You know what they say about mistletoe, right?"

Husk, grumbling, tried to avoid making eye contact, but Angel was already leaning in. "Come on, Husk. Don't make it weird." He placed a quick kiss on Husk's cheek before pulling away. Husk froze for a second, his face flushed.

"...You're impossible," Husk muttered, taking a long sip of his drink.

Niffty and Baxter:

Niffty, bouncing with excitement, was looking through a pile of holiday decorations when she turned around and noticed Baxter standing by the mistletoe. "Oh my gosh!" Niffty squealed, grabbing Baxter's arm. "We're under the mistletoe! You know what that means, right?"

Baxter raised a brow behind his goggles, clearly unamused. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure I know the tradition."

Before he could say anything else, Niffty grabbed his face, kissed him on the cheek, and giggled, "Merry Christmas, Baxy!"

Baxter blinked, taken aback by her sudden enthusiasm. He sighed, muttering, "You're all way too excited about this."
