Day Twenty Three: Mastermind

After seeing Mastermind, this sparked a little what if scenario. We all know Blitz and Stolas deserve some justice, so let's give it to them. Something Satan said in the song got to me, he claims he ruled Hell since long before Lucifer's fall. Well, let's see what the king of hell has to say about it, and his daughter. What if Lucifer and Charlie saw the broadcast when Stolas sings mastermind and decided to help?

The trial of I.M.P was broadcast across all the rings of hell; Satan had sentenced Blitz to death. Stolas saw the broadcast and immediately ran down there to save Blitz. Fizzarolli had been sending texts to Asmodeus, begging for him to do something. But there was nothing Asmodeus and Bee could do; Satan was the judge, jury, and executioner and no one could turn over his ruling. Millie and Moxxie were in tears and looking away, not wanting to see their friend die. Loona who had been muzzled the entire time, whimpered with tears in her eyes.

Just as the blade was about to chop off Blitz's head; something blocked the blade. Everyone in Hell gasps upon seeing this. Andrealphus smiles wickedly as a single feather lands on Blitzo's body. In the nick of time, Stolas entered the courtroom, preventing Blitzo from being executed. He lifts the axe with all his might using his magic. "WHAT IN LUCIFER'S HELL IS THIS?!?!" Satan shouted.

"I am about to explain everything!" Stolas stated, breaking away from the Reaper executioner and using magic to undo the chains binding Blitzo. "In the only way I know how... song!"

Blitzo slumps his face down on the Execution block, and Stolas hears Vassago cheering, "YES! Yes! Cántalo (sing it) baby!"

Stolas broke into the song where he confessed that he was the mastermind behind it all. Sure, he wasn't telling the complete truth but he has no regrets freeing Blitz. Blitz was in shock that Stolas was throwing his life away for him. At that moment, Blitz finally caved into his true feelings for Stolas and he just realized it too late. Andrealphus was enjoying this so much; he had Stolas in the trap and it was all coming to plan. Asmodeus and Bee both know the real truth but neither of them could go against Satan.

However, at the Hazbin Hotel, everyone, including Charlie and Lucifer, was watching the trial. Lucifer may not have been active in Hell for a long time, but he knew Stolas and knew his life with Stella. He can tell when someone is lying and he could tell that Stolas and Blitz were somewhat telling the truth but Satan wasn't giving them a chance to explain. Even Charlie felt bad for them; she and Octavia were close friends as kids and even she knew what Stella was like with Stolas.

"Dad... Stolas needs help. He doesn't deserve this. And neither does that imp and his friends." Charlie said.

Lucifer wanted to say something until he heard Satan say that he had ruled this place long before Lucifer's fall as he chained Stolas's wrists and neck. That second Lucifer heard that; he went red with rage. Lucifer summoned a portal for him and Charlie to go through. He was a full-on demon flying into the courtroom. Blitz and his friends were about to be dragged out of the courtroom until everyone froze with terror seeing the king and princess of Hell. "RELEASE THEM, NOW!" Lucifer shouted, his voice echoing through the courtroom.

"Hey Luci, finally showed up," Mammon said.

Lucifer turned his angry eyes to Mammon, "SHUT THE FUCK UP!"

The chains on Stolas were taken off along with the ones on Blitz, Millie, and Moxxie. The muzzle on Loona was taken off as well. Lucifer then sat down on his throne and Charlie stood by his side. Satan tried to protest but one look at Lucifer's eyes and he immediately shut up. All the other sins were just surprised to see Lucifer, here for the trial. Andrealphus tried to tell the same lies to Lucifer and Charlie but Lucifer just snapped his fingers and put that Elsa wannabe in chains.
