Chapter 25: Azathoth's Tears (FINAL)

A few weeks have passed since that battle for Henry, Octavia, and Stolas. Bogumierz and his friends have done the impossible: Took on the royal Goetia family from Stella's side and won. Striker was gone, Andrealphus went missing, Stella was killed, and Alexander was dead again. And what's more, Henry was reborn into a demon. Not as a sinner, but as a royal Demon according to Stolas after examining him carefully. Although everyone was thrilled, Bogumierz was wasn't. He was happy Henry survived, but he had suspicions about Alastor.

At the Hotel, Alastor was enjoying his meal of recently dead animal with a cup of coffee while reading his newspaper. On the paper, he sees the front headline:

NEW OVERLORD DEAD!

ROYAL GOETIA FAMILY LOST STELLA! BROTHER MISSING!

NEW ROYAL PRINCE ARRIVED AND ORIGINAL PRINCE IS MISSING!

Alastor chuckled over this. It was no secret that he was the one responsible for killing Alexander. After all, the Radio Demon was always looking for the strongest Overlords to kill. No one know what happens to them after Alastor finds them. Some speculated that he either killed them or ate them. Regardless on what he did, the Overlords were never heard from again.

As he was about to take a bite, Bogumierz opened the door looking at Alastor with suspicion. "Do you mind? I'm trying to enjoy my breakfast." Alastor asked.

"We need to talk. Alone. Now." Bogumierz stated boldly as he shut the door behind him.

Alastor placed his silverware down with grace before standing up to the Demon Archer. "What is it?"

"What did you tell Octavia?"

"Whatever do you mean?"

"Don't play games with me! You know exactly what I'm taking about!" Bogumierz walked up to the Radio Demon as he continues. "I saw that shadow magic from Octavia. She doesn't have that."

"Your point?"

"I know that magic. It's your magic. You forced her to make a deal with you, didn't you?!" Bogumierz asked. This only made Alastor smiled.

"I never force the lady. She was just desperate. And besides, if it wasn't for me, none of this would've happen. In a sense, you owe me."

"I don't know what you are up to. But I swear if you took her soul then-"

"Ah ah ah ah." Alastor stopped him. "I never took that. I'd just got a favor from her. I got the new overlord and a new royal demon is born, whom by the way is your friend. So you have nothing to worry about."

Bogumierz was still not convinced. He remembered what Vaggie told him about this overlord. Even though he was thankful Henry is back, he is still not letting his guard down.

"What? Are you not happy that your friend is back and he and the girl are dating?" Alastor asked.

"I may be happy for them. But I am not letting my guard down around you. I don't know what your game is, but if you do anything, I will kill you. Understand?" Bogumierz asked.

Alastor chuckled. "Oh Bogumierz. You seemed to have forgotten that I gave you the Demon bow, fitting for you might I add. I also saved you. So let's not make this nasty shall we?"

Bogumierz and Alastor stared at each other for quite some time before Bogumierz decided to leave. But he stopped before he walked out. "I'm on to you."

"You have a splendid day as well." Alastor spoke back.

Bogumierz closed the door and walked away. He looked at the clock on his phone and saw that it was almost time for the big show in the hotel. He didn't bother telling Alastor over this because of trust reasons. It was actually almost time for the show to start for Henry.
