Chapter 15

Aahi reached home and rang the bell, putting a huge smile. She imagined her family members' reaction.

Rugnita opened the door and seeing Aahi there Rugnita screamed in joy, "Oh my dear!!! You are finally back! Do you know how worried we all were! Are you okay!?"

Asking that she started to check her. As everyone was on the dinner table hearing this got up and smiled seeing their lovely princess.

Chandrika, Aahi's grandma who usually walked slow due to age was the first one to hug her and ask how she was.

Seeing the love she is getting Aahi got a little emotional but said, "Now let's talk about other things later, Maa, I'm really hungry."

Rugnita nodded her head and said, "Of course! Look at how thin you have become! Go wash your hands I will prepare your plate."

Advik headlocked her while Jay, their elder cousin, pinched her cheeks and both scolded her for making everyone worried.

Tejas, Aahi's father had a calm smile seeing his daughter back home in one piece and said, "Beat her up later let me hug my daugther once."

Aahi smiled and wiggled her way out of her brother's clutches and hugged her father and said, "Papa, I'm home, sorry to make you guys worry about me."

Tejes nodded his head and said, "That's right this time you worried us a lot, we almost sent Advik and Jay to get you there, make sure you never worry us like this from now on!"

Kamini smirked at that comment and said, "That's why we should make sure this doesn't happen again, it's better we don't let her travel like this alone. The outside world isn't that nice! Plus she is at a marriageable age s-"

Sunil cuts her off and said, "Stop worrying so much Kamini she is back safely, and our Aahi is capable enough to get herself out of trouble." And glared at his wife to stop saying anything rude.

Jay cleared his throat and said, "But no one will save her from me and adi! She is gonna get it!" both the brothers were about to tickle and hit her when Tejes hugged Aahi and said, "As I said let me hug her once! You both will get one from me if you even touch Aahi!"

Aahi giggled and teased her brother's as she hugged her father tighter and said, "You guys can't do anything, everyone is on my side! Right dadu?"

Mahendra laughs and said, "Yes my lioness, no one can touch you!"

Tejas laughed and said, "Okay now stop hugging me so tight or else I will vomit out the food I ate."

Aahi breaking the hug pouted at his words and said, "Tch papa, you always say that!"

She turned towards her bade papa Sunil and said, "Bade papa lagta hai apne mujhe miss nahi kiya!"

Sunil laughs and said, "How can that be possible! You are my squirrel, how can I not miss you."

Aahi smiled and walked towards him and gave a quick hug.

Rugnita came back with Aahi's food. Aahi sat on her chair ready to eat the food.

She quickly started eating and while she ate the family asked some questions about what happened and how did she end up getting back early.

She answered them and lied about all those things.

Kamini then asked, "By the way, why didn't you just go back to your mama's place wouldn't it have been safer? He could have gone to pick you up."

Everyone nodded hearing this, while this question puts Aahi in a spot, she replied, "I didn't want to trouble them just for two days badi mummy."

Kamini scoffed and asked, "How would you be a trouble to them? After all, aren't you their ladli?"

Rugnita gasped and said, "Oh that reminds I have to call Bhai to let him know you have reached home safely!" Saying that she went to call her brother.

Aahi let's out a big sigh and says, "Now I will have to tell you the truth! Actually I stayed at the city to enjoy and roam around plus the main reason I stayed was to bring you guys some gifts!"

Hearing this Chandrika excitedly. asked, "Gifts!? Really? Show me mine fast!"

Aahi nodded and said, "Let me finish my dinner quickly dadi!" Saying that she focused on her dinner and everyone stopped asking her questions.

Rugnita replied, "What was the need of that beta."

Aahi replied, "I was bored staying inside the hotel so went to look around and got a few things for everyone."

Saying that she gets up and after keeping her plate away and washing her hands she went to get the bag.

She gave gifts to everyone making them happy. After that Aahi got in her room and noticed her mother had followed to unpack her laggage. Seeing that she is about to take her backpack Aahi stopped her, "Maa leave it, I will do it."

Hearing this Rugnita giggles and said, "Wah bhai! A sudden change? What's wrong?"

Aahi fakes a laugh and said, "Nothing maa, all the clothes are new since my bag burned, so I just wore this all rest are supposed to go inside the wardrobe so I will set them, now let's go to sleep. I'm very tired."

Rugnita sighed and said, "Okay beta, you go to sleep." Aahi nodded with a smile and wished her mother a good night and closed the door.

After freshening up she sighed a relief and said, "Home sweet home! Nothing hits better than your own bed!" And closed her eyes.

Here as soon as Nilesh and Vihaan reached home they were greeted warmly, they had dinner and talk about their trip with their family.

Everyone was glad to have them back sooner.

After the and talks Vihaan going to his room after freshening up started to unpack his bag.

As he was doing that he came across the certificate and looking at it whispered, "I hope you reached home safely." And kept the certificate inside his laptop bag because he knew it wouldn't be safe to keep it in the house.

He laid down in his bed and closed his eyes.
