3rd POV
As Carlos descends from the sky like an eagle ready to strike the unfortunate prey he finds himself propelling himself faster as he uses his boosters from his jet pack as he further speeds up toward his target.
A Nod Soldier prepared himself as command ordered a high red alert klaxon alarms rang throughout the base and their communications as a fleet of unidentified aircraft was seen coming towards the Holy Shrine at utmost speed.
He along with others was the first one to be put out for patrol along with anti-air guns along with mechanized divisions on the outer border of the Holy Shrine.
Tensions were high as loud explosions erupted from the Shrine and mushroom clouds were seen from where they were.
Yet despite the destructive force, it seemed the Shrine was unscathed as the red barrier was lit up protecting it from the explosions.
That amount of explosions would level a large city if not much more he shuddered the much destructive force it could do if there was no energy barrier protecting the Shrine would be disastrous for the Brotherhood of Nod.
"This is the second time another barrage of missiles has struck the Holy Shrine. " An officer spoke as he looked at the energy shield that protects the Shrine through his binoculars.
The Nod soldier looked at the officer as he remembered another missile struck the Shrine not long ago but not as numerous as the one that struck right now.
"However they are, they sure pack a lot of punches that they put on those nukes compared to what we have. " The officer muttered under his breath.
'Come to think of it, those 3 superpowers don't have any missile silos as we arrived on this new timeline. Aside from that nuclear energy was not present until a certain scientist disappeared on this timeline, an advantage that we would likely exploit but now. ' he thought grimly.
"Sir!! Contact 12o o'clock high!! " The Nod soldier shouted at his officer as ahead of them in the skies were hundreds of unknown aircraft approaching the Shrine.
The officer in charge then looks through his binoculars at the arriving force.
"This Jericho Battalion to Prophet Command we have sighted a large aircraft coming at the right side of our position. "
"Copy that Jericho Battalion, are the natives finally responding to our provocation that fast? " An intelligence officer responded in a surprise tone.
"That's not possible, our forces hit them hard all around the world their bases were on smoldering ruins and their commanding officers were either dead or fighting for their lives. Jericho Battalion have you identified who were these forces? " Another higher officer spoke in authority with a stern voice.
"Negative command, these forces were unknown based on the data we have collected no identification from either of the three superpowers and based on what I see is seemingly advanced than what these world techs have. " The officer in the field responded as he took his binoculars again as he observed the newcomers.
"A force with seemingly compromised of aircraft that was seemingly larger and has a similar model of an F-14 and what seem to be gunships carrying infantry. I doubt these would be enough to breach the Shrine itself. " He muttered.
'GDI? No, those fools don't know about the operation ever since we detonated the last Nod Base from our timeline, I doubt any data would have survived from the smoking ruins and even if they did it would take years to make a time machine. '
"Uh, sir? It's just me or that black dot from the sky is seemingly coming towards us closer-"
*Explosion*
