There were many rules to follow in order to be the perfect, pretty boy. One must learn to always smile no matter the situation. Even if things get a bit uncomfortable, you mustn't act bothered lest you hurt someone's image of you. Second, you have to memorize everyone's names so they feel remembered. Everyone likes to feel special after all. Third, be kind even if you don't mean it. 

Many more rules followed after that but he'd rather not go through them one by one. It was something he'd curated ever since he was born and has been following it diligently in his daily routines. He could recite it by heart but no one would ever want to listen to that boring spiel.

Such is the life of [Name], a psychic from birth.

[Name] walked into a school with an amicable smile on his face. People waved at him in greeting as they passed by. As someone aspiring to be the most perfect person in the school, he obviously waved back and even flashed them a smile as a special bonus for being the first people to encounter him this beautiful day.

'Ha! That's a total of 15 students and it's barely been 10 minutes since I arrived!' He mentally pumped his fist as he grinned proudly at himself for the accomplishment. At this rate, he was easily going to reach his quota of 40 students greeting him the moment he stepped into school.

He hummed a quiet tune as he bounced over to the direction of his classroom.

To anyone else, it might seem like he was simply happy about the first day of school but the truth was, [Name] was simply delighted at hearing all the compliments people were thinking about him.

'How refreshing! [Name]-san still looks as peppy as ever!"

'His hair looks so shiny today, I wonder what brand he uses?'

'His smile is so nice...'

[Name] couldn't help but feel his pride soar at the increasing reputation he had built up over the past school years. Mentally, he glanced at the likeness meter he'd been keeping track of. It was at around 64 for the entire school, a bit over average. 

It was alright...but not good enough.

He needed to reach 100 before he could be satisfied with anything. He expects nothing but absolute perfection.

As a psychic, you'd expect him to take advantage of his powers and get anyone he wanted to instantly like him rather than going through such a painstaking process of memorizing everyone's names and complimenting them daily. Wrong.

It wasn't that easy. Changing something that wide-scale usually resulted in the end of the world, either through implosion or world war. Trust him, he'd know. (We don't speak of the many world resets he'd had to do over the course of the year)

He opened the door to his classroom as he brought out his brightest smile. "Hello everyone!" He greeted as chirpily as he could, trying to make a good impression, only to find nobody paying attention to him. His smile couldn't help but twitch a bit as everyone else seemed to be too busy fawning over something...or at least someone.

He could recognize that angelic glow anywhere!

Right in the middle of his bustling classmates sat a completely monotone Itoshi Sae, the school's perfect, pretty boy. [Name] couldn't help but seethe from where he stood as he gripped his school bag's strap a bit tighter.
