The sangeet hall sparkled with fairy lights and chandeliers, the decor was perfect mix of royal elegance and vibrant festivity. The floor was crowded with our cousins, friends, and family members, all eagerly waiting for the games and performances to begin.

Khushpreet, his cousin tapped the mic mischievously, his voice echoing through the lively chatter.

Khushpreet: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the most awaited event of the year—the battle of wits, dances, and love! Tonight, it’s Shubman’s parivaar versus Y/n’s parivaar! Let’s see who wins!”

Khushpreet announced, throwing a mock villainous laugh.

Shubman: Why do I feel like I’m about to be roasted alive?

Shubman whispered as I bit on my lips, trying to control my laughter. He looked at his cousins and others and prayed that they don't get him roasted or something. I couldn't control myself as I laughed.

The first round was a trivia game about us . Both families had to guess answers to questions about our likes, dislikes, and quirks.

Khushpreet: alright here we go.
First question: What’s Y/N’s favorite midnight snack?

Mumma eagerly pressed on the buzzer as I looked at her.

Keart: Chocolate chip cookies!

Before khushpreet could say anything, shyamika got up saying.

Shyamika: No way! It’s spicy maggi! Shubman even makes it for her!

The room erupted into laughter as Shubman facepalmed , even i was shocked on why she would mention that, freak now I'd have to listen to jijs lecture too! But hey it's fine, it's just sometimes I have it , right?! Yeah right!

Shubman:Why would you bring that up?
You: Don’t worry, Shub. It’s your best culinary skill! But mumma is right too. I love her handmade cookies.

The trivia continued, with both families hilariously competing to prove who knew the couple better. Papa's wildly wrong answers had everyone in stitches, while my cousins happily roasted Shubman at every opportunity.

Next came the dance battles, where our families split into teams. Shubman’s team started strong, with his sisters performing a perfect dance for everyone to applaud. Their energetic moves to “Ghungroo” and “Desi Girl” earned great applause as I was shocked cause they changed their outfit and then again changed their outfit for the dance ,like okay that's a whole lot of hard work!

Shahneel di taunted, winking at me, as I nodded and got up! Let's have some fun and show everyone what I can actually do!

I grabbed my cousins, and we stormed the stage with a high-energy performance on “Radha” and “London Thumakda.”
