~-~ Y/n L/n's POV~-~

The first thing I felt when I woke up was warmth. A kind of comforting warmth that made it impossible to move, cocooned in something soft and secure. My eyes fluttered open slowly, the morning light streaming through the curtains painting golden streaks across the room. But it wasn't the sunlight that made me feel so snug.

It was Muichiro.

His arms were wrapped tightly around me, holding me close like I was a pillow he didn't want to let go of. His face was nestled in the crook of my neck, his soft, even breaths tickling my skin. I blinked, taking in his peaceful expression—his hair messy, lips slightly parted—and felt my heart swell in my chest.

At the edge of the couch, Yuki stirred, her wagging tail thumping gently against the cushions. She looked up at me with her big, warm eyes, clearly happy to see me awake. I reached out to scratch behind her ears, and she leaned into my hand, a soft whine of contentment escaping her. After a few moments of playing with her, I decided to get up, trying to rise from the couch without waking Muichiro up. That small movement must have been enough to disturb him, because his hold on me tightened slightly.

"Stay," he mumbled, his voice muffled and thick with sleep. His arms shifted, pulling me closer as though he sensed I might try to leave.

"Mui," I whispered, trying not to laugh. "I was just going to get some water."

"Mm-mm." He nuzzled deeper into my neck, his voice barely audible. "You're comfy. Just a little longer."

I sighed, but my lips curved into a smile. "Fine. Just a few more minutes."

Yuki popped her head up anxiously as I rested back into the couch, her excitement infectious. I reached down to rub her belly, earning a happy grunt from her. Between her joyful wiggles and Muichiro's stubborn grip, it felt like the perfect way to start the day.

By the time everyone else began to wake, Muichiro had finally let me go. He stretched lazily as I played with Yuki on the floor, guiding a small red laser beam across the room and laughing as she darted after it with boundless energy. When she skidded to a halt and pounced on the dot, her tail flicked excitedly, and I scratched her head, earning a contented purr.

"Morning!" Nezuko cheered as she woke up, looking astonishing. Like she hadn't stirred the most out of all of us.

"HOW DO YOU DO IT?!" Aoi asked grumpily, stretching as she struggled to get up at first.

Nezuko snickered as she stretched once more while standing. "It's just my flawlessness!" She bragged, doing a hair flip. Which little did she know, would back fire on her. 'Cause as she flicked the hair off her shoulder and into the air, I spotted something.

"Mhm, yeah." I said snickering. "Wanna tell us about that big ass Hickey on your neck?" Her face was the funniest thing I've seen her do in a while. But before she could protest, Tanjiro interrupted.

"What?" He asked with most seriousness ever. His death glare was not something you wanted to see. If looks could kill, you'd be far deeper than 6 feet.

"Huh? I don't know? What's happening? I have no clue!" I stuttered, pretending like I don't know anything.

"Well, looks like Zen finally got his bitch." Yuichiro exclaimed, which caused Muichiro to burst into a fit of laughter along side me, and the other girls.

"Isn't it weird that his Nickname is Zen, yet he's anything but that?" Kanao laughed, which caused Tanjiro to lose his glare and lighten up.

"It is! You are so right, Kanao!" He chimed, smiling so bright the sun couldn't compare.
